I'd never felt as alive as I felt at that moment, wrapped in his arms with his lips pressed against mine. Being in his embrace erased the disappointment I felt when he stopped my mouths exploration. Arvandus placed me on my bed and I instantly tightened my hold around his neck, for fear he would leave me. He eased my fears with a deep, gentle kiss. My body turned to liquid heat as I arched my back to press against him. I relaxed, and allowed my hands to roam about his sides and chest. I knew what I wanted, but had no idea how to ask for it.

Miranda

Arvandus sensed Miranda's hesitation.

"It's alright, my love, if you can't find the words you can show me what you want." his voice soothed her, and set her into action.

Miranda's shaking hand slid under the opposite pillow and grasped something long and phallic-shaped. With a deep breath she resolved she was doing what was best. She stilled, her hand hidden under the pillow as he bent to kiss her neck in a most vulnerable spot. Her confidenced waned for a moment from the gentle nature of his touch.

He was so beautiful, absolutely everything she had dreamt he'd be. He raised his head and looked directly into her eyes and she seized the moment. Her hand eased from under the pillow while their eyes were locked. Miranda poised the phallic object in the air directly over the both of them and plunged the wooden stake as forcefully as she possibly could, driving it into his back.

His eyes widened in shock before they glazed over and he collapsed against her. She rolled him off into the floor and stood over his motionless body.

"Guess you didn't get around to reading the last chapter I wrote." she said with a smile.
