I'm a hairy 40 year old dude, there is no escaping that. Also a very secretive cross dresser with deeply hidden sissy tendancies.

Having said that I love the thought of being totally shaved, then oiled, soft and feminine.

I could never really achieve this as it would raise way to many questions but is there an alternative? Or has anyone used an incredible excuse to get away with it!!

Would love to hear from the cross dressing community how they deal with this. Xx

Well, when I used to shave my pubes I told my wife It was because they got caught in my foreskin (I'm a grower) and pulled them which was uncomfortable.. not sure if she bought it...lol

I keep myself totally shaved it enhances sexual contact especially when you're partner is shaved also.

Years ago after my wife complained about my itchy body hair a few times I buzzed then shaved everything except my forearms, pubes and lower legs. I did trim the arms and legs. She loved it and enjoyed laying on my chest again. A couple weeks later, I was shaving her pussy. She asked if she could shave my cock and balls. That night she sucked my cock twice!

I have shaved ever since. When I got into men, I found it was well received and most assume I’m a bottom, which I very much am!

I love my smooth body and it’s great when go sissy and wear panties or lingerie for men.

I use an electric shaver and have no issues with bumps or irritation, even when wearing my cage.

I am rather hairy and love smooth skin too. I went through a stage of keeping my legs smooth and oufnd that using an IPL helped slow down the growth. It was a lot easier to keep smooth using that along with shaving every so often than to try with just a razor. Seemed to help with razor burn and bumps etc. I used it for a couple months and when I stopped it grew back almost as heavy as it had been before... but I plan on starting up again in about month. I didn't use it on my pubes however.

As for excuses on why you shave, I never had to make any but having no hair makes using lotions a lot easier (sunscreen or anti-itch from bugs or whatever). You could asl take up cycling. Or you could just tell people you don't like body hair. Or tell people that satin panties feel amazing on smooth skin. Because they do.

A true reason for me is that I legitimately hate body hair. Full stop. Period. Drop the mic. I can add some other reasons to that so that it becomes more compelling as to why I fully-shave, but that is the primary reason.

For other reasons, shaving produces faster times. Swimming and cycling come to mind immediately where wind and water resistance is a lot greater with body hair upon a person.

For people into endurance sports which includes, running, swimming, cycling, mountain biking, rowing, speed skating and hiking; modern performance clothes wicks sweat away from the skin and evaporates it, but it can only do that if the clothing material is tight upon the skin. Being overly hairy can defeat those modern materials. Shaving and wearing sweat wicking clothing makes a HUGE difference in this area.

For some people, disease prevention is a reason. Most notable is Lyme Disease which starts from a tick bite. Without body hair for the small ticks to hide in, a person can see them much more easily, and ridding the body of them faster makes a huge difference in Lyme Disease mitigation. But this applies to almost anything. When you go for surgery, they shave the area and apply antibacterial agents to make the area sterile. With many soaps being antibacterial in nature, with fully shaven bodies you are doing that exact thing with every shower you take.

For those with hard water, hair often turns red because it absorbs the iron. While it is true clarifying shampoos do strip out the heavy metals in hair, the shampoo is very expensive. Shaving the hair off keeps a person from having to apply these expensive shampoos over all hairy areas of their body.

While this list is not all-inclusive, hopefully you can see, there really is a long list of reasons to fully shave body hair off. In fact, about 15% of men in the United States currently do. You don’t see it, but for every 100 guys you see in a day, fifteen fully shave. On an average day you met 30 guys who fully shave and you do not even know it. It really is gaining in popularity more than men realize. So much so that nurses, doctors, paramedics, etc have never once questioned me why I was a man without body hair, and in fact for surgeries and that medical tape they put on my legs, I was glad I was shaved!

In short, NO ONE CARES if you fully-shave. I know, I have lived it out for many years.

As for maintaining it. Once it is off that first time, it does not take a lot of time to maintain. Do an area or two on your body daily and rotate around. In the course of a week, you have a fully shaven body. Razors are also getting better and designed for body hair removal now. Add in a little body wash and water and that is all you need for “shaving cream” so shaving body hair is not a huge expense or time consuming.

Considering it is 2026, I predict more and more men will be fully shaving as they realize how many men are already doing it. I have been shaving my body hair for years and no one ever knew. I do so because I just dislike body hair but there are so many reasons to do so.

I'm a man and I stay very well-trimmed, almost shaved completely. I'm masculine, I don't feel feminine at all but my partner isn't into hair so I take care of it for her. It works well.

50s guy here. Naturally smooth and like to shave for six but my wife gets suspicious so I generally keep it neatly trimmed.
