In my perspective, the issue about shoe shopping with a man is that men know very well what they like and what looks good for them, but they have no idea of what's good or comfortable for a woman, and, regarding shoes, it is an essential thing. I never buy neither anything uncomfy nor ugly.. but how do you explain it to a man? :) he wants the highest, sexiest and impractical heels possible. Just my experience)

I'm guessing that about 99% of us men that you are talking about here are not expecting you to go hiking in the shoes that we are picking out. Most of us would be happy if those shoes never left the bedroom! haha :D
