She sighed in relief when he carried her out of the water. When he asked where she wanted to go eat she thought about it and looked at the way she was dressed. As they walked up the beach back to the car she considered her options.

"Well there is that new pizza place not far from the house I have been wanting to try and it's not like we can go anywhere nice with the way I'm dressed."

She got into the passanger seat and waited for him to get in.

"I should have thought about more than teasing you when I got dressed for us to leave huh?"

"Well, it doesn't matter what you are dressed like to me, but I guess to others, well they might see you in a different light. If we go to that pizza place, we have to behave, we can't have people that know us see us that way. Or do you just want to go home and order it delivery?"

He got in and started the car and took off.

His words brought her down to earth and the reality she hadn't been able to face but she put on a smile so that he wouldn't know how upset she was.

"Going home sounds fine then I can change into something comfortable."

She smiled softly and rested her head against the glass looked like they were going back to reality and the way things were before their afternoon out. He would order the pizza and she would change then she would eat and go to bed.

He could sense her mood change and shook his head.

"Shelly, do not be sad. We will see what will happen with this, but we must not let people find out about us."

He stroked her hair with his hand.

"I know." She commented and placed a hand on his thigh as she watched the scenery go by.

She knew he loved her but he still really just saw her as a sister and didn't want anyone to know what was going on between them. To him what they were doing was bad and taboo and she knew she would have to come to grips with it but at the moment going back to having to pretend to be his little sister bugged her. She could not understand why he insisted on it they had no blood relation and no matter how many times he said he loved her she knew it didn't make things any diffrent, knew that beyond a few sexual encounters nothing would become of them even though he had asked her to be with him earlier.

He looked to his sister and saw the pain in her eyes, she was really taking this hard. He shook his head.

"Shelly, I know what you are feeling right now, its alright. Talk to me, let's work this out."

He took her hand and held it.

She offered him a weak smile and squeezed his hand.

"Stop worring so much Jake. I know how things have to be and will just take me a little bit to adjust okay? No big deal."

She lifted their joined hands and firmly pressed a kiss to the back of his.

She smiled for him though it was a bit harder than it should have been. At the moment all she wanted to do was eat then go to bed and let her brain rest from the circles it had been running all day. She was sure everything would look better in the morning.

He looked at her and knew she was still holding back.

She paused for a moment taking in a deep breath before she looked at him with pleading eyes.

"Just give me time to adjust to the way things have to be okay?"

He shook his head as he looked to her.

"Shelly, if this was something we could get by with out Mom and Dad feeling embarresed over, I would not care, but this would crush them. Sure we are not blood, but we are still bonded by our ties."

He closed his eyes and sighed.

"If that is what you want, time. You got it Shelly..."

He sped his car up to a high speed as his thoughts were swirling in his head now."

"Jackass I don't need time away from you or apart from you as a matter of fact that is probably the last fucking thing I need. I need time to get use to the fact that I can't openly be with the man I love where someone might just see us. I don't need time away I need you more now than ever to assure me it'll all be okay. I just need you to understand it will take me a little time to get use to the situation. She was right, h was being a jackass, but what was he to think. He saw how the fire rose out of his sister and she yelled at him as she straddled him in the driver seat.

Shelly gave him a hard look "Yes you do give me almost everything I want but instead of talking to dad and mom you want to hide this from them and when we are in public around people who might know us you want me to act like your my brother, not my lover and not my man. So yeah it might be a little hard for me to adjust and know when I'm suppose to be which. Am I your sister all the time and just your girl when you want sex?"

She laid her forhead on his chest in confusion. He was the one who wanted it all out there fine let him answer the hard questions that were bugging her that she was having trouble with herself.

He never thought of the situation lik that, it was selfish of him to want that. But what would there parents think, would they approve... she was right, maybe they should talk to there parents.

He sighed as he smiled at her, he was not comfortable with this at all.

"And if things don't work out, we can always just go back to being brother and sister right?"

Shelly smiled softly and reached a hand up to caress his cheek as her love for him shone in her eyes.

"I think ....... I think we might both be right Jake and maybe ....... Maybe we are both being selfish. How about we keep this to our selves for a little bit? Just until we are both comfortable with where things are going before we talk to anyone else."

She paused watching his face as she tenderly caressed his cheek.

"Just when it's just us it has to be more than sex okay?"

She looked down nibbling her nervously wandering if she was asking more than he could give.

He sighed in relief as she understood. He smiled as she ran her hand on his face and he looked deep into her eyes.

"Come on, let's go get that pizza, ill even let you pay..."

Jake laughed and started his car as he reved the engine up and he grinned at her as he put the car in gear as he took off. He rolled down his window as he pulled a smoke out.

"Sorry babe, I haven't had one all day... I need it."

He lit the cig and he took a long drag as he blew the smoke out the window and he drove looking down the road.

"Oh so if I pay, you know what happens after that than.."

He grinned at her as he blew smoke from his nose. His phone rang and he looked to it as he saw it was his ex nd he shook his head.

"Fuck..."

He took the turn sharp s he almost missed it and he sped down.

"Sorry, we are almost there."

Shelly could tell from his reaction it was his ex again and it only frustrated her that bitch was so bad to him then clung to him like a lost puppy.

"Would you let me talk to her if she calls again? She keeps interupting my time."

Shelly reached over and put a hand on his thigh in a show of affection not letting the sharp turn effect her.

"Oh so I'll be paying for my meal one way or another is that it?"

She told him on a laugh to try to lighten his mood back up so they could both enjoy their dinner.

He looked to her as he flicked his cig out the window and took another one out and lit it.

"Sorry, she is a troublesome one... and no you cannot talk to her, that would not be right. Shit... I don't even know what is right anymore..."

He shook his head and chuckled a bit at her comment.

"Well, yes you will be, but don't forget the tip"

He sighed as he took a drag on his smoke. He hoped things didn't go down that road, she was a rather vindictive woman... and what she wanted she got.

"Thank you Shelly for being there for me... I needed to get out of that relationship if that is what you want to call it."

He pulled up to the pizza place and smiled at her.

"Here we are, lets go."

He got out of the car and put his smoke out on the ground as he saw the place was not too busy and he went over and opened her car door for her.

"My sweet and beautiful date."

He took her hand and helped her out of the car.

Shelly smiled relising that Jake only knew the sweet loving her not the side that no one at her house ever saw as far as everyone at home was cncerned she was the perfect little angel, all sweets and innocents. Let them think that she thought.

She smiled at his compliment and reached in after he helped her out to slip her jacket on to cover up more of her body so she at least looked decent instead of like a street walker.

"And you are my handsome and chilvorous date. I'm honored."

She went on tip toe and kissed his cheek to anyone watching it would look like anything she had done a thousand times before but what they wouldn't see was her teeth nip him and then her tongue lick the sting away.

"Let's go in I'm starving."

He saw the people look at her and all eyes were on her. The men were all groaning as they looked at her. Jake just grinned as he walked up to the counter and put his arm around her waist and pulled her in close.

Shelly smiled at how possesive he was being. As he wrapped his arm around her pulling her closer she leaned her head against him and looked over the menu they had trying to decide what type of pizza she wanted. Her stomach gave an impatient growl as the smells assulted her nose.

"Well I need to hurry up and decide from the sounds of it."

She gave a small laugh and wrapped her arm around his waist.

"Hmmm how about a meatlovers with extra cheese?"

She looked up at him as she emphized the word lovers.
