Friday Night. [Between the Here and the Now]

Fangorn Forest.

An expansive place, of lush. Vegetation. Fantastical, trees. Bordered by the Misty Mountains, to the. West. And the human city of Rowan, southward. Within the shelter, of greenery. Exists, spectacular. Beings, of. Legend. As two, of the tiniest. And most unlikely, have. Graced the company, of. One...

"An Ent. Tree herder. Like a Shepherd of the Forest!"

"I can make out a BEARD in your bark! Amazing..."

"HRRrrrrummm. Hmm! That, as it may be. Mistress Sidney, and Master Ethan. You are both correct. Some call me, Treebeard. Now hold on young Hobbits, while we. Travel to the South. I always liked going that way. Somehow, it feels like going downhill..."

The two, could only be. Upon the mercy of. Wonderment. Being, in the presence of. Potentially, one of the. Oldest, most magical creatures. In all of Middle Earth. And it -- he -- was taking them, for a. Stroll...

"Where are the....might there be others, like you. Mister Treebeard?"

"BAHRR. Brrrharr. Hmmm! There are some of us, still around. But not as many. Like before. Because we lost. The Entwives. We cannot find them. Anywhere."

As the massive Ent, made his way. Root and branch, across. His own homeland, both Hobbit intact still. Riding large, upon his shoulders. He began the serenade...

"Baharrrooooom. Hmm! Beneath the roof of sleeping. Leaves and dreams of trees untold. When woodland halls are green and cool. And the wind is in the west..."

Ethan Greenhand turned to his best friend, beyond elated. That she's present, herein. With him, that. She'd been able to share this, experience. And day, together. He reached out, leaning forth. For Sidney Hayward's hand...

"..come back to me....come...back to me......and say my land is the....best...."

Friday Night. 3:29am [On the Streets, Within Seattle, Washington]

Wet. Still misty. On this middle, of the. Night. Out here, on the road. The after effect, of Mother Nature. At least for this part, of the world. During this time, of year. It had definitely stopped...

"Can’t rain all the time." she uttered out, quietly. Joining him. Both sets of eyes -- it seemed -- upon the environment.

And without even realizing it, he was quick to chime in with. "People once believed, that when someone dies..."

Friday Night. [Between the Here and the Now]

...a crow carries their soul, to the. Land of the Dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens. That a terrible sadness, is carried with it. And the soul cannot rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes. The crow can bring, that soul. Back. To put the wrong things, right...

.

.

Cawww!

She. Yellowish green irises. Bright, turquoise-like, layered hair. Beautiful, and. Perfect. For him. Her forthright, ailing spirit. Cried out, to him. And they just connected. So much so, that they were engaged. And to be, married. Tomorrow. Sidney Webster and Ethan Draven. To be wed, on Halloween.

Cawww!

Until. Until...they were both. Murdered. Someone, no. A BUNCH of someones, went. Out of their way. To...to, knife him. Shoot him. And throw him, outside. Of a six story, window. And she. She. She was...touched. Her clothes, shred. Brutally raped. Cut. And then, left for. Dead...

Cawww!

Their lives.

Cawww!

Their love.

Cawww!

Their happy ending. Everything good, anything nice...in this world. All taken, from them. They were taken, away. They were to be, the no. More...

Cawww!

Who gets married, on Halloween? No one.
.

.

....and after. After the wrong, was to be. Made right? How...how, how was IT to END? For 'him'? He was, brought back. And yet, all he wanted. All he EVER, had wanted. Was to be, with. With his Sidney. His love. With her...

Please. God. Someone. PLEASE....

To just, see her. One last time....

P-please...

Cawww!

We walk, the narrow path...
Beneath, the smoking skies...
Sometimes, you can barely tell the difference...
Between darkness and light.

Cawww!

Do we have faith...
In what we believe?
The truest test..
Is when, we cannot...when we cannot, see...

I hear pounding feet, in the...
In the streets below...
And the...and the women crying..
And the...and the children know...
That there's...there's something wrong.
It's hard to believe that love will prevaiiil...

It wonnnn't. Raaaiin. All the time...
The sky, won't fall. Forreverr...
And though, the night seems lonnng...
Your tears, won't fall. Forreverrr...

Friday Night. 3:31am [On the Streets, Within Seattle, Washington]

He blinked, the couplement. When SID's, pretty face. Materialized, before his blues. "Was that a Lord of the Rings reference?" she openly inquired him, as she moved closer.

He shook his head, at first. The line of thought, from the last. Still fresh. "No, it's from The Cro--" But then, he caught sight of the baggie, with the. Green contents, inside. And that made him, shake. The sudden, grief. That had filled him(at least on a subconscious level). Replacing it, with the boyish eagerness. As, from before. "Oh, yes. Ahah. Big Tolkien fan. Even bigger Peter Jackson one!" His tongue came out, absently. To touch, the right side of his mouth. Back, and forth. Before..."That was...sort of outta the blue. Wasn't it? Sorry..." He offered, a smile. As he watched her. Playing with the plastic wrapping...

"Make yourself useful," SID casually, declared. Throwing the plastic baggie, upon his. Open hands. Without much of a thought, he was happy to oblige. Although, he couldn't be sure. What his purpose, in all of this was. Did she call it toke(toking)? Just because he saw something that reminded him, of something. Completely fictitious. Didn't change the blaring fact, that. He had never done something. Like this. Before. Ever. Nor had he, tasted. Juice, such like that. From the Party, earlier. Ever. Had he been missing out, or what? As she fingered through, unto the. Green plant like substance. Calculatedly, and obviously. With ease and experience. He figured she knew what she was doing, and would. Lead him, forward. So that they may, arrive. Together...

The zig-zag turned over, paper. Became, something. Else, all together. Wonderfully. And it wasn't lost on him, that she was. The creatrix. As she placed it, between her full. Soft, lips. He stood, entranced at her. Skillset. "You ready to see the Shire, Twitch?" she beckoned, the. Flame, radiating from. Across the features, of her face.

"Whoaa, that's...pretty sweet!" He couldn't even contain, the giddy. If not, goofy. Grin. "How does it. Work? I've never...done that before. But, mannn...do I feel AWESOME right now! You know?" For the innocence, of the moment. The young, if not slightly drunk. Busboy, laughed. Readily, at himself. In spite of himself. Before her. And then her words, registered. Finally. "The Shire! Hell yes, let's go back. Like before..."

He hadn't realized, exactly what he had. Just pitched, right back at her. Perhaps, he was slightly. Getting confused. Because of the alcohol. Obviously, it couldn't just be an. Ethan thing...

In the bit of an enthusiastic, spirited notion. His hand, reached for her. Free one. To bridge contact, and. Heed acknowledgment, of the. Intended and proposed, journey. Not so far, off.

As if, the first step. To any, great adventure. Was to, quite simply. Hold hands...
