Silly thing heard during the Republican debates

awesome, I decided to retire yesterday. Have enough stock, bonds, and real estate and hopefully once obama gets out of office those things will appreciate in value. Until then, I hope obama doesn't do more damange to the economy

None of that is true.

Oops, Cain says Muslims need to be interrogated before they're hired. Simply because they're Muslims.

The Dow when Obama assumed office: 8077

The Dow today: 11,953

Somehow Jen's investments lost money under Obama though. Tell us what stocks you picked, Jen!

Paul had the best gay marriage answer.

Gotta love these pro-family Republicans who want to pass a constitutional amendment to take power away from states (which they say they oppose), and break up tens of thousands of families.

Oh wait, gay people can't have families.

Probably any number of stocks that aren't a part of the Dow and can fluctuate all over the place regardless of what the Dow is doing. I own stock in like 2 companies in the Dow and can lose all sorts of money even when it's strong. It's an indicator of the overall market but hardly means you can't lose money on even good stock.

But... but... he is on the Republican ticket. :(

I'm pretty conservative and vote Republican quite a bit and would never consider that man a member of the party. He's an independent that's smart enough to know an Independent won't be President.

Did Ron Paul just say that the government should penalize the Catholic Church if it gives some food or something to an illegal immigrant?

That does not sound like something he would say, but anything is possible.

No, there's NO excuse at all for your overall portfolio to lose money when the Dow shoots up 3000 points. None.
