Just thought I'd jump in there. I don't get many opportunities to say it now that I've finished coming out about Wicca to everyone I know and that simple sentence does tend to get almighty double-takes from people.

I've talked of my family Christmas back home already. I've blown a large proportion of my holiday for the year in booking time off to go home. It's a mighty 200 mile drive, which is a fair distance to me, although nothing to the Septics around here. I get to go home to my family and the traditions that we've done every year. My mother will cook ginger cake and fruit cake and my father will make turkey soup from the leftovers. That's the best food in the world, stuff that I've never been remotely capable of replicating myself and I'm not sure I'd be happy if I could. I get to hang decorations on the tree that my siblings and I made when we were 5 and hang up pillowcases for our presents. Although he's not spoken of any more, Father Christmas still fills them with presents by the morning.

And I get to see my dearest friends and give them the presents that I have chosen to make them smile.

God, I love Christmas.

I haven't told you yet how happy your recent posts have sounded - I like it.

I've had some training as a healer....I'll never have "holy" person status, but a healer is just fine with me.
