Been a shit ton going on that has dragged me out of my writing over the last decade, at least. I'm not one of those authors with Red H connected to all their stories, but most of my stuff is a little off the beaten path, so I don't expect a lot. Recent problems with ADHD and depression actually drew me back; I've been writing a long time, but with no incentive to finish anything. Certainly no reason to publish.

For some odd reason, I actually took a prompt and finished a story. I like to think that it will be incentive enough to keep going.

Thanks to @EmilyMiller who, without knowing it, got me to push over that line that so many fail to cross. I hope it is enough to keep me going. I'd really like to get some of these things off my hard drive.

For those of you who may be interested, I uploaded 'Popsicle' this afternoon. It's in the 'Erotic Couplings' section because I had no good idea where to put it; no sex, no coupling, not eve romance, yet it didn't fit anywhere else. I'm sure that the powers that be, if they read it, will shift it somewhere more appropriate.

My thanks to those in those in the AH that support and promote publications. You do make an impression.

Those of you that read this, shoot me a 5 to boost my ego when the story comes out, even if you don't like my style or subject. 😜

Huge congrats on finishing something and pressing submit. I'm sure it feels good. Enjoy the feeling.

I'd just like to say though that it's absolutely fine just to write without doing that. The vast majority of the time I just enjoy noodling around, turning myself on by writing, reworking paragraphs just for the hell of it. I’m sure there are loads of people who do that. The business of getting it all into the kind of shape where it can be submitted can seem tedious, overwhelming, a chore. It’s ok to resist that pressure.

That’s amazing - so pleased to hear ❤️
