Ava watched curiously as the pair walked in the room, interested to see exactly what the rest of the morning would hold. He was certainly an eyeful she couldn't help but wonder if she was going to need a step ladder as she glanced over Zeke's paperwork. When she looked up she couldn't help but notice that Mark's body language was a bit off as he supervised Zeke, but she couldn't quite tell why. When Zeke started back towards her Mark was on his heels and she couldn't quite tell if he was trying to cut him off or simply following.
"Have a seat Zeke" Ava remarked as she pointed towards the table. When Zeke finally settled down she rolled the stool over and took a seat of her own. "So it seems you don't have any certification on record, but you don't appear to be inexperienced either. Have you been sold before?" Ava asked curiously.
Ava felt the frown cross her face before she could stop it. She hadn't even bothered to really take a look at Zeke yet and she did not like where it was going. This usually indicated a poorly trained sub that no one wanted to deal with, or worse a trail of incompetent, and often abusive string of aggressive individuals. In this case, it was likely the latter... and that just infuriated her.
"Any illnesses or issues I should know about?" Ava said with a sigh as she stood up and took a few steps towards Zeke and handed Mark the clipboard. "Take care of the vitals for me Mark..."
Zeke eyed her intently as she walked forward and extended her hands towards his neck. Ava took her time, checking for bruising or any tender spots in addition to examining his glands which were unsurprisingly swollen. "Infection?" Ava thought to herself... "but where?" It only took a few moments to work through the easy ones. Throat, ears and nose looked looked fine, but the rest were more complicated and she certainly couldn't assume there was only one thing going on. Ava pulled the stethoscope from around her neck to listen to his heart, before taking a few steps behind him. While a few scars peeked over his shoulder, Ava didn't necessarily expect to see the destruction that crisscrossed its way down Zeke's back and her heart sunk. While it wasn't uncommon to see a mark or two within their circles the massive amount of scaring was far from what most would have considered normal. Many of the thick lines crisscrossed each other, showing that this was more than an occasional occurrence.
"Devon, there are a bunch of wound kits in the cabinet to the left of sink. Bring me one, NOW." Ava said impatiently. As if the scars weren't bad enough it was clear that no one bothered to care for the most recent carnage. "Could they not at least let him shower? What the hell?" Ava thought to herself. At least she finally understood Mark's body language earlier. Ava eyed the basin that she packed with the wound kit as Devon stood next to her wide eyed. Normally she would have scolded him, but in the moment she really didn't care.
"Come on, up and back into the shower. How long has it been like this Zeke?" Ava asked impatiently as she stepped back and waited for him to cooperate.
