Slice of Pizza Thread

You know what pizza I hate? that Boston Pizza shit.

They ought to give you a complimentary saline drip to counteract the pound of salt.

Maybe Butters can get on that.

Modern day pizza in most countries is basically flavored bread.

I wonder how original pizza looked like.
My mother, who was health and wealth conscious had her own recipe of pizza: a few thin layers of pastry as a vehicle for meat and vegetables.

I think that the large chains (Pizza Hutt, Hell's pizza) killed it for a while.
Because they had so many customers due to publicity and accessible locations, they could afford to save on expensive toppings and make it mostly bread.

Years ago, family owned joints made amazing pizzas with heaps of cheese or meat. And customers kept coming back.
But they gradually started cutting costs by making them mostly bread, as the large chains kept expanding.

But I think that small businesses will start thriving again, with the online UberEats and eatnow home delivery businesses.
