I'm a bit sceptical of American German restaurants... I'm willing to take my chances though.
I'll be leaving from Germany unless New Year's is in February or March this time.

You don't get the whole thing silly girl but they will let you have a piece of it. The authentic Mexican food down here is very good and they don't give you a huge trough of stuff that you could feed a whole family on for one person. That's white people mexican food, not mexican people mexican food! Besides, I live within two blocks of both a health food grocery store and a mediterranean cafe, there's a Thai restaurant over by the university which is about a mile and a half away.

I'm also about four miles from the old courthouse where Billy the Kid was tried and sentenced to hang in and if you get the itch there is a brewpub not far from here either with some nice handcrafted beers!

I quite enjoyed the Bavarians. The food was beyond description.

And I sang my way through, so I suppose that lets me off the "American tourist" hook. We didn't stay in the tourist hotels, didn't eat at the tourist restaurants (well, except that one night at the Hofbrauhaus), and didn't do the tourist tours.

So it was a great experience.
