Snake-oil quack Dr. Oz to oversee Medicare & Medicaid

Actually what i know is you are scared. All his picks so far are spot on.
A surgeon who never ran his own practice is going to lead the most screwed up healthcare system in the world and you think it's "spot on."

Medicare and Medicaid are the least screwed up part of the US healthcare system. Damning with faint praise!

Dr Oz, the guy who made his name selling quack miracle potions on shopping channels? Yes, I remember him. He stood for office in a state that he didn't live in and his family firm got fined the largest amount in American history for hiring undocumented workers.

That seems so long ago - and not such a large fine. Those are rookie numbers by Trump standards.

I think people think that loyalty is the common theme… loyalty is a common theme for his positions, this is true. But the real common theme for his new cabinet is attention. News correspondents. Big names. TV personalities. People who’ve made themselves known outside of Trump. People who are very well known in their own circles, and who can draw in people who do not know or care about politics.

He wants these people front and center because he knows that what he needs is people who can con people into doing things against their own interests.

His big mistake the first time around was that he valued loyalty alone. They were all “loyal.” But he realized that loyalty doesn’t buy him attention. Every single one of his picks are now experienced charlatans in their own right, and they all bring their own crowd to the table.

It’ll be interesting to see how long they can bend the knee before standing up.

He did do worse and the history books confirm that.

This is how you know this guy isn’t worth debating. He doesnt have any real idea of how hard it would be run anything well. He just listens to his AM radio station and Fox News drivel about the evils of the dems and glory of trump.

The rubes will happily agree to cuts to Social Security, Medicare, Education, the ACA, and other social programs - along with massive tax cuts for the rich and corporations- because those "familiar faces" gave them assurances and reassurances.

😑

🤬

The rubes deserve it, tbh. At this point, if you’re not committing fraud and grifting, you’re not upholding the values of our society.

Quack Dr Oz says insulting and uninformed things about Medicaid

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz defended President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” over criticism that millions of people could lose health coverage, saying those who would face new work requirements should “prove that they matter.”

Oz made the comments during an interview Wednesday on Fox Business, arguing that when Medicaid was created in the 1960s lawmakers did not include work requirements because it “never dawned on anybody that able-bodied people who work would be on Medicaid.”

pRoVe thAt ThEy maTTer!!!

The majority of people on Medicaid are employed, so I’m not sure why it “never dawned” on him that was the case. He must be a severe rockhead.
