Sneak-A-Peak Senary

I see these images of street scene nudity thanks to Shankara. But I have never even heard of one of these types of event, much less seen one. Where does this sort of thing happen? Wouldn't public nudity laws be involved? I'm not complaining obvioulsy, just curious...maybe I need to get out more

I'd guess this is the Folsom Street Fair or something similar.

Public nudity laws widely differ. At times in someplace the laws are sorta suspended when there are a large number of naked people over tax the ability to enforce laws. For Folson Street and Dore Alley, BDSM and LGBT street fairs streets and blocked off and people more-or-less can't just wonder in, so it is rather like a private party. And explicit sexual activity is against the law, but again law enforcement just sorta stays on the perimeter, so....

And as with so many things, in each city your milage may vary....

This is from the web page for Fantasy Fest in Key West FL:

  • Nudity is ILLEGAL and is NOT allowed on public property or in public view at any time.
  • Lewd acts on public property or in public view are strictly ILLEGAL and NOT tolerated.
  • Body painting is allowed but must be done in enclosed or screened in areas, entirely out of public view. Painted female breasts are permitted, but ONLY ALLOWED within the designated "Fantasy Zone".
  • Please wear a cover-up to avoid ILLEGAL exposure on public property and on all city streets outside of the "Fantasy Zone".

This from the 2019 Folsum Street Fair web site:
Located on historic Folsom Street, leather and fetish players from all over the world converge. With over 200 exhibitor booths showcasing fetish gear and toys, it’s a pig’s dream. Check out our massive live stage with top-name indie, electronic and alternative acts, our huge dance area spinning the best of the international party scene, live BDSM demos, and a sick and twisted performance stage. And, yes, you can still be naked, so avail yourself of our coat and clothes check areas as well!

Yes, you may be naked at either or both fairs. Per a law banning nudity in San Francisco, permitted street fairs like ours are exempt. So, please, dress up to come on down, and then, strip down to whatever you like. We have one coat and clothes check area at Up Your Alley and two areas at Folsom Street Fair. Nude is not lewd at our events, so there’s no need to fret.

Folsom Street Events follows all local, State, and Federal laws to the best of our ability and intervenes in any discovered instances of lewd behavior. FSE maintains a strong relationship with SFPD, and, as such, we have implemented and continue to enforce a three strikes policy on lewd behavior, as follows: Step 1 – Verbal warning. Our Security team may stop you and ask that you take your given activity (e.g., masturbation, oral/anal/vaginal sex) indoors to an appropriate establishment like Blow Buddies; Step 2 – Ejection from the fair. Our Security team will escort you to the closest gate, requesting that you do not return. If needed, we will ask for SFPD assistance, and we will alert our gates personnel that you are not allowed to re-enter; and, Step 3 – Citation. If you are found back on the fairgrounds, we will turn the matter over to SFPD.
