So now it's down to three

Every time an alphabet agency charges me a couple g's to send another redundant inspector way out here to make sure I'm a good boy . . .

 But, you ain't a good boy. How can you afford to let any government agent inspect your crop?!

What do you mean? I've got 7 acres of berries and 5 more of veggies....never a single violation of any kind.

And they aren't inspecting my crop they inspect to make sure I'm not trashing the creek/river....which is fine, but they don't need to send 6 agents from 6 agencies out here all to check the same 1,200 ft of creek/river frontage numerous times. That's nothing more than liburhul oppression of poor folks, one inspector several times a year is more than reasonable for someone who's always been code compliant. But then what would all those liburhuls in the other agencies do for a paycheck if they couldn't come out and treat me like an ATM?;):D

Monsanto is happy the state of California is trying to economically assassinate me and all the other independent farmers out there for them.....they want more of it until they are literally the only legal entity allowed to farm commercially.

Ah. I suppose you grow your other crop indoors?

Well, I've never heard of the inspected party being charged for that. We all pay taxes for it, of course, but that's not the same thing.

Well, to your knowledge, what violations does Monsanto get away with that you couldn't?

Nah, backyard next to my kitchen garden. Can't beat sun grown in fresh mountain air/water. I start everything "indoors" in like feb, but I'm not an indoor grower. It all goes outside after frost threat is gone and seedlings/cuttings/graftings have strong roots.

You need to look at some of these "regulations" you love so much...most inspectors out there charge the inspected for their time/travel. At least in my industry.

You do all pay taxes for it as consumers but it comes out of the proprietors ass first. That's harder for small independent companies to do than mega corp. Isn't liberalism awesome? And you wonder why the 1% is so fucking rich? LOL

Well...other than passing laws that say they are exempt from the law and no one can do anything about it. THANKS OBAMA!!more liberal hate for the little guy and 1%'er dick sucking at it's finest. ;)

Nothing in theory....but they are able to absorb the cost of these inspectors a lot easier than small independent farmers. It's like charging 80% taxation...who does that hurt more the guy who make a billion dollars a month or the person making 50k a year?

Citation is needed. That sounds like bullshit.

Started here...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farmer_Assurance_Provision

They have chased it down trying to save Monsanto at any cost through a couple 'revisions' and a renaming after a couple of the 'whacko' politicians threw a fit and made a big stink about it, but here is the latest version of it.

https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/1599/text

It's not as outright "monsanto is a legal god over all that is agriculture on Earth" crony as the first one he went for but it's still a rather sloppy and enthusiastic Monsanto dick suck law...

Obama still happy as fuck to sign that shit. Just another in a long line of 1% dick sucking laws he and other 'establishment' democrats were all to happy to hype up and sell to the lemmings as progress.
