As the starter of a thread you can delete the first post and if I understand the FAQ correctly, that will cause the entire thread to disappear.

That is what works at other boards, when you edit a post you have the option to delete it. But I found no delete button here.

It is at the very top of the thread.. You go edit, look at the top of the message, right up where your name is, up near the Post Subject.. and there will be a check box beside a big fonted "Delete" you check the box and then click the toggle button Delete.. and it is supposed to delete... but I havenot found that it works.. I tried deleted somethat that way and it doesn't work for me.. (On the very first post within the thread)

Yeah, what I meant is that I had tried it in one of my own threads that I had started.. it did not work.. It did not like me one bit at all. It gave me the same error page that it gives me when I try to edit someone elses post (I just wanted to see what it would say once)

I get the same page trying to delete my own posts. You can edit them to vacuity, but not really delete them.

On the other hand, someone complained once that they'd accidentally dleted an entire thread. I've never tried it, but because of the panicked complaint I always imagined it would work.
