Soul Caliber

Sigfirede saw a small group of warrior-lokking people clustered around a blown out street light. She decided to listen in. "Very powerful heirloom", was all she really heard. "My ass. The Soul Edge more like it", she muttered to herself. "Excuse me. I am Sigfriede, A Knight of the Holy Heart, and as my knighthood forces me to do, I wish to offer my assistance in this matter of your heirloom. In case you wish to know of my warrior's ability, I am one of the highest members of the knighthood, and if not for my age, would probably a councilman", offered Sigfriede, lying smoothly about everything but the end, which she said bitterly.

Ivy

Ivy scanned the group. She had three people standing around her offering her their services. She sized them up. The boy, Garion, seemed surprised. Looks could be decieving, yet Ivy could tell he knew she was lying. Yet he would help her all the same, and when the time came, she would kill him without batting an eyelash. The man in the bulky armour... that one seemed.... something seemed off about him. no doubt a skilled fighter, not as skilled as her of course, but perhaps could be useful on the voyage. She turned to teh last of the three. 'V' he called himself, yet she knew him at sight. This was Voldo, her only true competitor. He was a skilled fighter, yet she was not sure if she would prevail in a fight with him. The fact that she had missed him gave clues to his various abilities. . . she had saw the armoured one in the distance, and dismissed him as no threat, but for this one to be standing no more than ten feet from her for her not to notice. . . as useful as he might be on such a journey, he would be perilous to have around. . . these thoughts travelled through her head quickly. She had to regain control of the situation.
"Garion and I . . . were simply discussing . . . details. " she sniffed the air. Voldo was a powerful enemy, she did not want to upset. Yet. "Siegfried." Ivy smiled, her cruel eyes reflecting the dim light. "You lie. You are not teh highest Knight in the Holy Heart, are you?" Her voice was bitter, and mocked him. He did not answer, but the silence was enough for Ivy. She paused. It was a long pause as she allowed teh silence to thicken. She saw out of the corner of her eyes Garion and Seigfried watching her closely. Slowly, very slowly, she turned to face Voldo completely. " I would be honored to have you join my quest to . . ." she paused and smiled slyly so only Voldo could see. " regain my heirlooms." She paused, and whispered the rest so the others could not hear. "But i know who you are. I know of your skill, and I know of your TRUE quest. You seek the SoulEdge. Isn't that correct, Voldo?" She waited for his response to hearing her say his name.

OOC: Note that I wrote she is ONE of the highest knights, which is true.

Voldo smiled.... So.. Ivy had recognized him after all, he smiled again. He simply nodded his head to Ivy's question.
The fact that she recognized him was interesting, the fact that she still wanted him with her was tantalizing. Voldo figured why not?! If anything were to go down he could easily dispatch of Ivy's man servant and the knight just doesn't have manuverbility that he has. Ivy would be the only challenge, her sword that was also a whip offered alot of flexability.
"I have no quams of joining you. I think it would be an honour to fight along side you." Voldo lied.

Garion

Smiling inwardly, Garion allowed himself to appear the naive youth, hiding behind the deception to promote complacency among his newfound companions. Voldo, especially, he kept a careful and watchful eye upon, wary of the deadly grace with which the other moved.

OOC: Bump?

IC: Ivy smiled.
"Well then i suggest we meet together again tommarrow. I myself have some things . . . that need taking care of. I will meet you all here again tommarrow, at midnight." Then, she was gone.

OOC:

Bump is just a way of getting the thread to the top of the forum page, in case everyone lost track of it or needs to be reminded that its still around.

Garion

Nodding in agreement, Garion turned and strode back into the store he had come from, intent on getting some kind of food to replace that which he'd dropped when the others had arrived.

Voldo watched as everyone left. Than he too turned to leave, making sure that he isn't followed along the way.

Nynil

Nynil
First Knight of the Order of Taes
Weapons-The duel saber daggers of Taes
- two daggers slightly curved about ten inches long with a ring atached to the handle for the index finger to go through. Made in the fires of Taes they are ever sharp and next to unbreakable. They can be easily converted into blades attached to a chain in the handle giving the user increased reach and speed of attack.
Description- 6 foot tall, yellow eyes, short blue hair, wears baggy clothes to hide his form and the armor he wears beneath( the elbows and knees of which have extra armor is more for offence), is well trained in the fighting style of Taes ( it seems like dancing and is hard to predict where the person will move or try to strike next it involves allot of flips, spins, feints, and arial monuvers)

Nynil was busy hitting on one of the local girls pretending not to notice the scene that had just unfolded but as soon as everyone left he began to track the location of the Soul Edge again. He knew the players in this game almost all of them Taes's information gathering was better than most he also knew that the person who knew where soul edge was lotated was in this town and that Ivy knew this as well. Hopefully she had not gotten to the contact before he could. However finding him was more difficult than he originally thought.

Ivy walked away from the others quickly, all senses active, making sure that no one, not even Voldo could follow her with out her knowing. When she was sure she was alone, she turned down a darkened alley. She knew who she was looking for, but she was not completely sure where to find him. Still, she knew where he likely was ,and if he wasn't there, she'd simply break in to his house, and surprise him there.

Tracking you

Nynil was a jumper and the magic of the order of Taes inhanced his abilities to a superhuman level. He knew all the real competitors in this race had thier own brand of magic as well, making them difficult to injure or in the case of Ivy to follow. She was fast, silent, and careful. Nynil doubted even someone of Voldo's skill could not lose her and on several occasions Ivy had almost seen him trailing her on the roofs. She was going to find the man before he would she was a better tracker but he would get the location first he would get to him before her.

Bane

OOC:
I will add in being the one ivy is looking for if it not ok just post and I'll stop.

IC:
Bane
Weapons: Two 6" twin edged daggers that has been used to beat some of the most exsperienced sword fighters.
Bio: At 6'6" Bane was tall and well built with gray eyes and black hair, a mistic from a small island in the east he had some interesting powers.

Bane has been in this town for a month, asking questions about a beutiful young girl. Sitting at the bar at the Inn he mummbled "damn I can't belive I let slip about the Soul Edge". Bane was plagued by visons of the blade, how to find it, and the girl that was going to help him get it and destroy it for once and for all.

OOC:

Sounds okay to me, BlackOcean, but the final decision's up to Lady Galadriel, since its her thread.
