Pretoria, South Africa reporting (hey do we count in here? - I mean we are in the South, all right of Africa we admit but hey where does it say only you guy's are allowed to have fun)
MUST live IN South Riding OR within 10 miles of South Riding.
So it seems (at least to a fairly new thread participant) that there are a material number of Virginians here.
As a former outsider, I think Virginia is in a strange spot geographically. It's historically a southern US state, but it seems that most in the south don't consider it to be (similar, although less conflicted, is Maryland, which is south of the Mason-Dixon Line). It's not quite in the northeast and some do (and some don't) consider it to be Mid-Atlantic.
Relevance? Not much, actually. However: does it make sense to create a Virginia thread for this? Granted Virginia is a big state (commonwealth if we're being picky), and guy from Bristol is not likely to frequent a guy from Burke. Would it make more sense if it was Northern Virginia (or is that too limiting, and maybe should perhaps be DC metro area?)
I don't have the answer (I rarely do) but it seems like it may be a question worth exploring.
If I'm ever going to dip my toe in this pool (or some other more enjoyable appendage), it's going to be with an albino unicorn: married, completely safe and discreet, kind and friendly, and probably leans towards bottom or at least versatile. Oh, and can host with daytime availability during the week, and is seriously looking for one person with whom to explore all of this craziness, for the long term if everything works (plays) as hoped. And he would be an albino unicorn with wings if his wife/female partner wanted to join at some point as well.
FloridaOkay Southerners,
Roll Call. Tells us where you are. Central Virginia here.

Central Alabama. I see many more from Atlanta and Florida/Gulf Coast here than from my area in AL. Always a pleasure to hear from persons nearby.Florida
Virginia is an oddity... on many levels... and unicorns do exist ;-)Virginia

I suppose I might believe in them more readily if I actually saw one in its natural (or perhaps unnatural) habitat.Virginia is an oddity... on many levels... and unicorns do exist ;-)
