good afternoon love. Hope you have a great weekend.
I am back at work in New Mexico this project and already 2nd guessing myself - it's not even summer and over 100! inside this tin box i live in doesn't get much cooler when it's that hot out!
We did get an extra long weekend - off early Thursday - don't have to be back until Wednesday am. I should have taken off to somewhere cooler. But working on organizing and setting up the RV. Finishing up a few sewing projects.
Thanks to all our Military Peeps out here. Thanks for all you do for this country of ours.

Good morning to everyone!
Today is a better day than yesterday. I'm focused down on a single work deliverable and have one of my peers covering my other tasks for the day, so I should be able to make the deadline and then, hopefully, slide into a long weekend (I have Friday off).
I'm on something of a Warren Zevon binge this morning and right now I am listening to one of my favorites, so here is your musical interlude for the day.

I lived in Houston for many years...and went through Hurricane Ike and Hurricane Rita...it was so very scary...I remember like it was yesterday...and the infrastructure in Houston is so horrible, that if you want to get out of town, it is too slow going...you cant!!!!!

I was in middle school when those two storms hit .
Last year hurricane was scary , but we got through it . This time my mom is staying with us , because she's sick .

Thank you. Her diabetes is effecting her eyes. She has bleeding in the back of her right eye, and swilling in both . Thank God she has good doctors.
That is a tough choice. I'd say take your walk now , or wait until it stops raining
