Sorry for not paying attention, have been watching the reception of my newest story. Us newby writers care too much. To the point.
1. Corporal punishment in the UK has not existed for a long time. Even in the good/bad old days it was rarely administered to girls.
2. It was asexual (except perhaps for boys private schools in the 19th Century) and usually for boys on boys. (Try Eton School).
3. There is a complete genre of good published 'punishment' of girls fiction that follows Mab's line, correctional establishments for wayward girls. Try authors like Ray Gordon, Hilary James or others (sorry, rules don't let me quote the web sites - email if you want details).
In general, I really do think that schools are a difficult area, bearing in mind the rules of the site. I have a couple of plot lines I just wouldn't dare trying on lit.
As a girly wirly, I'm as fascinated as you by this area but I find it difficult.
Again, I hate him, bowing to the great Dr. M, as soon as you start wring an erotic story about corporal punishment you move away from reality and verisimilitude. You are forced to go into suspended belief unless you're talking about consensual BDSM.
If I can be rude, there are some crappy spanking stories on this site.
Sorry this is so long. In conclusion, I believe that your good story is going to have to sacrifice absolute accuracy for reader pulling power.
