Several reasons
1. Ropes take much longer to apply and leaves less time for SEX.
2. Ropes have a tendency to cut off circulation if not applied exactly right.
3. Even if applied right ropes tend to make you think more about them than wahts going on. I'd for me rather think about the other stuff going on.
Not saying I don't like rope just that I prefer Cuffs
