Lunar, it is both actually,,,, Gone With The Wind, Scarlett took down the dark green drapes and made a dress out of them,,,,,,,,,,,, Sound of Music, Maria made play clothes for the kids out of the drapes that were in her bedroom

I dunno about the movies, but in actuality, the people of the focus of the "The war of Northern Aggression" used any materail they had available to make clothing items an so forth (bed sheets, table cloths, draperies, even burlap seed sacks).

But you know what the south always had an abundabce of? Gunpowder. Seemed they never ran out of the stuff. I won't go into the details of how it was made, but the 3 things needed to make were (are): charcoal, sulfur, and saltpeter. Well charcoal came from burning trees. Sulfur came from filtering most any water source in the south. And the saltpeter is found in every mammal on earth, namely in their urine & excrement.

And guess what the number 1 killer of soldiers during that war was? Nope, not gunfire. It was known as "The Old Soldiers Diesease." We call it diareaha.
