Virgil could work at The Halo Corporation in Keystone. That's where Robby's interning, so there could be overlap and interaction, there. It would put you 600 miles from the current action, though, so that's a drawback. :/

I wouldn't mind if "AmenRa" had a chance to throw in a post -- a reaction really -- before proceeding with another Bart blippppp of a blurrrrr deal! I kinda like to give everyone a chance to respond, when I can and if able to, before moving on to the next. Even if this particular character....is....fasssssster than fast!

I'm sure people are just busy though. Starting to be that time of year, right Miss "ChasNicollette"? Although I wouldn't mind a kind nudge or *SKIP* to Springtime myself! Hehe

Hmm Keystone city sounds like fun as does the Halo Corporation. The drawback is pretty big however. We could get around it by him being picked up by one of the speedsters I guess, That's no more than a quick 30 second back and forth for them if that, and it would bring in a new location to spring things up in.

Rose is occasionally a superspeedster and occasionally a teleporter. There's also two other full-time superspeedsters around.

Also there's train-tracks going between Keystone-Central and Star(ling), and I betcha Static can get up a pretty amazing head of steam (haha) riding those rails, either skating the metal directly or doing some kind of sweet maglev thing.

I've been meaning to suggest at some point to Lunar that Ray Palmer could invent a teleportation technology based on his own signal-riding technique, that way superheroes could all teleport to The Hall of Justice from teleport booths like they did with Zeta Beam tech in "Young Justice." That would solve the distance problem nicely, but it doesn't have to happen immediately.

Just to....be silly...I had my character pop up all around various locations all ready, including Keystone, if one hadn't missed that. So yeah, the possibility isn't lacking there "wombat9966". More so, you have Miss "ChasNicollette's" other character in that location. Which could make for a fun/interesting/something-of-nothing interaction. STORY over ACTION any day of the week?

We can see what Mister "Lunaramblings" might have to say about the matters as well. I, behind the scenes, put in a silly request for a 'banner' of sorts as well. So I can add this roleplay -- in the eventuality -- to my signature. And the picture would top off the notion!

You're not alone in the loving of that season. Lots, including my lovely other, adore the visual 'changing of the leaves' depiction.

Unfortunately I look at it as a forthcoming to *DEATH* and what's to come in....*gasp*......WINTER!!! Ahaha.

Sorry been waiting on a reply about the current situation IC. I don't want to leave anyone out but at the same time I don't want to hold things up indefinitely.

Wombat, I am cool with anywhere you want Virgil to be working. If you want him to be at Queen, we can work that out, or if you would prefer CADMUS, or Halo or whomever that is cool too. In this version of things CADMUS has basically taken over the military side of projects that Star Labs used to run. IE, the stuff that Wade and Doc Wells were fighting over and such. They are a little bit more on the dark side with their projects and have discreet ties to ARGUS and other military groups.

If you wanted to be at Queen, perhaps you have in someway worked with some of Palmer's old designs, realized the danger they could pose and had set it up to let you know when those files are accessed. Perhaps this pings when Felicity is looking them up. Leading you to perhaps meeting with Felicity and eventually being brought into the team. Just some thoughts.

Headcanon Proposal:

When the "Jitters" coffee shop chain spreads out of Central City to other towns, it adopts the local city's initials before its name.

Like, the place started in Central City, so it was "CC Jitters" there.

But in Keystone City, it's "KC Jitters."

In New York, it would be "NYC Jitters."

And in Star City, it would be "SC Jitters."

What do you guys think? Too complicated? Should it just be "CC Jitters" everywhere? Or just "Jitters?"

Well then I am thinking Virgil is going to be in Keystone with Rose. This will give them a chance to bump into each other and he can work in Halo. Maybe he can actually be working on that transporter idea as he knows a lot about the way electromagnetic and electricity work on human cells. That would also give him a reason to be looking at Palmer's early work.

Of course this would mean that perhaps Chas and I could be writing a little side story for a bit until called in.

Here's my idea as to what The Halo Corporation is working on--

--we've established, via Felicity's hacking, that Halo has its own satellite network.

I think they have a whole ring of satellites encircling the globe.

Like, a planetary halo.

I think what they're trying to do is establish an orbital transmission relay, channeling high-energy streams through annular confinement beams-- they're essentially making an orbital particle accelerator.

Halo's notion is that they're trying to duplicate and continue STAR's work but at a safe distance from concentrated population areas. Like, if they unleash dimensional rifts and dump dark-matter everywhere, there won't be humans nearby to meta.

(The aspect that Robby's helping out with as he interns is satellite programming and guidance, but he also has a working knowledge of high-energy particle physics so he has an understanding of the energies he's streaming.)

This could, of course, also be used for Virgil's teleport idea-- rather like the transporters from "Star Trek," which, hey, is where I got the term "annular confinement beam." A person could be converted to energy, funneled through the satellite relays, and then returned to Earth.

I will write up a post and just mention Virgil working on a project that has seen him having to study Ray's earlier work but not what it is specifically for. I can also come and help out in the mall with Rose Chas as Virgil was just coming out for something to eat and to clear out some cobwebs.

Being geosynchronous requires being in line with the equator, unless I'm very much mistaken, but there can be the "squared circle" of the particle acceleration ring around the equator and then additional supplemental satellites able to be repositioned elsewhere around the world. I think they're thinking the orbital distance above the surface of The Earth is what would keep it from screwing up cities and stuff? But of course there's the potential for that to go horribly wrong which ties into later plot ideas of mine.

But just because Submersive's taken care of Razer, that doesn't mean she can't deal with a third supervillain in one day, make it a hat trick? I mean, even with The H-Dialer she's gonna be sore tomorrow, but I'd love a good team-up with Static if you're in the mood.

Either that or Rose and Robby can run into Virgil while they're getting out of Dodge when The H-Dialer times out, and he and Robby can talk science a little? Whatever's clever.

Oh sure I'm in the mood. I can write up a nice set up for you and you can join in. Perhaps Razer was just a set up to get most of the cities cops to look one way while another heist is pulled off in another part of the city. After all he did do it in a loud public way, and he did mention he was getting paid to do it.

I am guessing it would have to be somewhere scientific or militaristic. Probably going in stealthy so as not to raise alarms and thus blow their ruse. So why not have them break into Halo itself. Of course they would be after weapons not the stuff Virgil and Robby are working on but Virgil would be the one to spot them and knowing Robby was outside call him to alert the police. (Ahh say a scrambler in place to prevent any signal from going to emergency numbers. Quicker for him to speed dial Robby than try to hack it).

I am not sure of villains though. Maybe the Royal Flush gang or that may be a bit much for the two of us to handle so someone from the assassins league maybe.
