As the air in the cargo bay equalized, both Jaden and Laura removed their helmets. Jaden stared at the attractive petite, slim, Jedi Knight with fiery red hair and hazel eyes. She was beautiful with full lips and fair skin tone however she stood only at five feet and three inches tall. Her size did not diminish her power. Jaden had no doubts she was a powerful fighter with full access to the force abilities.
“You are not part of the rebel alliance, are you?” She asked Jaden as she studied him.
Jaden nodded in agreement and added “Smuggler…but hired to rescue you.”
Their conversation was interrupted as the personnel entrance door to the cargo hold opened and Aima walked in.
“Well …” Aima started thrusting her large chest out a little more as if to show Laura she was the dominate female on this ship “Laura Khiles it has been a while … I see you continue to get into trouble and need rescuing.”
Laura bristled at Aima comments “Ahh last time I checked, I’m the Jedi knight and you’ll address me appropriately as Master Khiles.”
“I’m more than your equal … I will do no such silly thing” Aima answered firmly.
“Again, you think you know better and fight against years of tradition. That is why you are such a danger. The darkside will find you and turn you. Then we will all be in trouble.” Laura stated confidently.
“The darkside just learn that Aima Edo is not to be farkeled with. Just ask Darth Dultash and Darth Saqol. Oops ... you can’t … that is because they are dead.” Aima bragged.
Jaden knew Aima had said too much … bragging about killing Sith Lords was just plain stupid. He also knew this conversation needed to end before the two started fighting.
“Aima … status of the data recovery off the x-wing fighter?” Jaden asked to change the subject.
Aima looked over to him and soften right away. A sexy smile appeared on her lips.
“Yes … I was able to get it all downloaded. I have also attached a tow to the damaged fighter. I think it can be repaired, if not, we can hide the fighter so the empire spends more time and resources looking for it. Jammer has been recovered. Lastly, that ship that appeared had the marking of Azkul's merks. I think they were following some faint signal. They did not even scan in our direction. I locked on to their propulsion trail … we can follow them if you want. Thoughts?” She asked.
