Star Wars

Kayla

I remain quiet sensing trouble burning the necklace icy cold against my skin. i shiver and bite my lip, and decide there is safety in numbers.

OOC short I know but y'all are writing so much i don't want to overload the thread

Zen

I give Han a quick glance for his comments about Dagobah. It wasn't much, but growing up this was the only home I truly had till I joined Luke and the others. Han always talked without fear of what others would think of him.

Turning my attention back to Ronag, I told him "Now that I have my memory back and my skills have fully returned to me, I wish to take Kayla on as my student. You already have to look after Sha'ara, so this would allow them both to get the proper training they need. What do you say?"

Ronag looked at me for a moment to think about if he should hand over Kayla to my care. I think he felt that there might be something more to my wanting to train her then meets the eye. Finaly, he answered "If Kayla is ok with it then I will hand over her training to you, Zen."

We both turned to Kayla as I asked her "Would you like me to help train you, Kayla? Or would you prefer to stay with Ronag?" We waited for her responce.

i bit my lip, why was I always faced with such difficult decisions. i concentrated on zen, with pain in his past, whom i had confided in, who had loved a women who died before they had really gotten together. and ronag, leader, busy, strong. regardless of who I choose it would be improper to be intimate with either until i was trained.

"zen I guess I'll help you remember all those training exercises. Test your mettle and your memory," I wink at ronag i still wanted to talk with him later

Zen

I smile at her choosing to join me as her trainer over Ronag. I knew Ronag would have done as good a job, but I was still eager to help Kayla in anyway that I could. There was something between us that I felt would help both of us get through our hard times. And we had alot of hard times coming ahead of us.

Turning back to Ronag, I was about to ask him again what we were supposed to do here when I saw the cave that I had gone through years ago to pass my jedi training. Could this be what he wanted us to go through? Finaly, I asked him "What did you want us here for Ronag?"

Sha'ara

OOC: I am sorry, but you threw me off with that post Kepic, I had to think about what I wanted to do... wasn't really sure what Sha'ara was seeing. I think I came up with something suitable.

IC: Sha'ara said, "I can see them .. not the creatures exactly, but I can see the imprint of evil on them, it's like a bright orange fireball radiating around them. I can see their movements, surrounded by this intense heat ... I can feel... there's something else, but I can't figure out what it is... someone .."

Tawain put his hand on her shoulder, squeezing it. She continued, "Those things are not from this place, they are here to kill it..."

OOC

Ahhh... sweetie...I wouldn't abandon you altogether! I'm just trying to find a new place to live and figure out how I'm gonna pay for the move!! I REALLY REALLY hate moving... but I'm getting my own place, which will be great!! Anyway, I am trying to get on here everyday, sometimes I need a little extra time to figure out something plausible, well, that's not exactly true... this time I wanted to give it a little thought though before I posted!!

I'll be here though, so don't you worry!! And about the new people, all I have to say is.... "FRESH BLOOD.. *sluuuurrrp!!*" I should get into some of the vampire rpg's huh??

Ooc: Renegade, in order for there to be a triangle, there needs to be three sides... it says so in the dictionary. lol. You aren't giving me much room to be part of this situation here. It's ok though...

Ronag

He took a look at Han and Lando. They didn't feel comfortable here, he could tell.
"You guys, if you want to go, you can. There's plenty of room in my ship for all three of us to go back."
Han smiled, "Thats good, we were going to kick some Chewbacca killing ass anyway. Thanks Ronag, see you soon."
Ronag laughed, as the ran off, "Soon."
Zen looked at him, "Well, what did you want us here so bad for?"
Ronag looked at them both, "Well, I wanted both of my students to have a little field trip, maybe even jog your memory a bit Zen. It seems though, that you have your memory back, and Kayla is no longer my student, so quite frankly I really don't know anymore."
He looked a bit surprised, there was no reason for them to be on the planet anymore.
"This place is a great place to control the force. There is more equality here, than in many places in the universe. If things are imbalanced, it's harder to use the force, even if that imbalance is more good than evil, it's still more difficult.
"That's why yoda liked this place so much, besides it was his home planet (was it? Damnit, need to watch the movie again), he wanted to continue his training. Even if you are a master, you need to train everyday."
Zen smiled, "Thats the first thing a Master teaches his student. Never quit learning."
Ronag smiled, "Well, since you two need some training time, I will leave you alone. I have a few things here I want to do before we leave. You guys can go and train. I will be at Yoda's hut. Come whenver you are finished."
Kayla seemed to want him to stay, but one look in Zen's eyes, and he knew he wasn't wanted. Ronag walked back to the hut.
Inside was dark and gloomy, he kicked one of the boards softly.
"Why the hell was she in my vision?"
There was a small clatter as the board fell down. It didn't seem to answer his question though.
"Why does Zen keep wanting me to stay away from Kayla?"
Again, the house provided no answer.
"And why does..."
Ronag stopped. A small clatter???
He looked down. The bed was a few feet high, but still was held by a few pieces of board, and one was on the floor.
"A secret..."
He looked inside. There was a small black insturment, about as long as a forearm. It was black, and slender, with a few...
"A light saber."
He took it out, staring at it. It was like no other light saber he had seen. There was a a small piece of metal, protecting your hand from attack. And, it was twice as long, almost like a double edged saber.
Ronag slided his finger along the button. Should he? It was at least a hundred years old, the crystal is probably shattered, or gone by now
(in case you didn't know... I probably stated this earlier though, light sabers get there "light" from a crystal inside the handle, Jedi 101... hey thats why they call me a master lol)
Still, he was tempted.
HE pressed the button.
A long swooping blade came out of the saber. It was curved, exactly like the one he had been trying to make, from his own saber. Ronag looked at his hand, there was a small black mark across it, no wonder that metal was covering the hand. It would take off the fingers if it could.
Ronag laughed, swinging it back and forth.
"Yoda, you old dog. Even in death you help us out."
He wondered what Yoda would say...
"Use the force, I did. Helping you, I am."
Ronag smiled, yep, thats what he would say.
He left the place sitting beside a nice tree outside of the hut. He placed the light saber next to his old one. He didn't expect to use it in a battle, he was still unskilled in it, but he knew once he did, it would be an asset.
Kayla.... Silver.
Why did those two keep entering his mind? He shook his head, trying to get it out of his head, but it would.
Silver, her chest heaving, and a look in her eyes, that wasn't quite human, over him, powering him, ready to stirke the final blow.
Kayla, her necklace gleaming, and a small smile on her face, that doesn't quite say I am happy, but says, I am contempt with life.
Ronag closed his eyes, thinking of his last battle with Ganor. Ganor had won, he had overpowered him. Only with the help of everyone else had he won. Ronag wondered, without help, who would really win...
Kayla.... Silver.... Ganor...
Let's call the whole thing off.

Ganor

He stepped onto the control deck, looking back at (Thorne is it? Ok).
"Thorne, you control everything from here. The ships, and destroyers, the Deathstar, everything."
Thorne looked at him, "but sir, what are you?"
Ganor eyed back at Silver, "We are going to Dagobah. There are a few things there that need settling. You attack the Jedi forces, and drive them to Salis (or Salinas, San Diego. Santa Fe, Sam I am, no I don't want green eggs and ham, whatever....)
Thorne shrugged his shoulders, "If you say so. If we are going to attack the Jedi's all at once, should we wait for the star destroyer to make the journey too. I mean, all of our ships can do light speed, but the des..."
Ganor hushed him, "A year ago, I saw the flaw in that. A Star Destroyer was a good weapon, but damn slow. Thats when I built a triconducting hyper engine."
Thorne was puzzled.
"This makes any ship, to an extent, able to go to light speed, even my Destroyer. Thats why I built it so small. I want it to go light speed."
His eyes grew wide, "This thing can go Light speed?"
Ganor smiled, bringing up the command.
"Just hit the button, and you are off. You can make it to the Dagobah system within the hour. We will be right behind you, just heading off for a little extra curricular activity (sorry, trying to study, and post at the same time, oh man even my puns are awful... it's early folks, bear with me). "
He started to leave, Silver at his side, "Oh, and don't bother stealing the plans. The only existing copy of the blueprints are in my head...."
Silver and Ganor went down to one of the New and Improved Tie Fighters.
"Ladies first."
She courtsied, "Thank you."
Ganor walked into the cockpit, Silver was in the pilot's seat, warming it up.
Ganor sat down, stretching his legs. He was finally relaxed, for the first time in a while.
"Dagobah huh?"
"Yep, you know..."
"I know."
The fighter jerked to start, leaving the Destroyer.

(Kepic... how does that old saying go? It ain't the size of the Destroyer... well you can figure the rest.... lol)

Zen

Once Ronag and the others left us, I turned back to Kayla. She looked confused about what we were supposed to do now but I was confident in her ability and strength.

Putting my pack onto the floor, I stretch out a little then tell Kayla "How about we do some saber practice? I know a good place where we can have some privacy and getting to it would be a nice chance for some running."

She nods as we begin our way through the swamp land of Dagobah. The way to the spot, is as hard to get through as I remember it to be. The messy land that we had to travel over, caused some trouble for Kayla but I had run this so often in my life that it was almost like a game for me.

We reached an area where there was no land to stand on and we would have to use the trees to get across. Jumping from tree branch to tree branch and using vines to swing the longer distances, we were able to get across the huge water area without much trouble. Once we get across, I asked her "You ok Kayla?"

She smiles and asks "How much farther till we get to this place?"

Smirking, I take a few breaths then answer her "We're already here."

I use my jedi powers to move the vines that covered the area away as she looked on at it. The area had some small plant life that could survive without the sun and was about the size of a large room. There were no animals or other things there to disturb us from our training exercises. Leading her inside, I pull out a saber and ask "Are you ready?"

Ooc: Yeah right. I would let you get the girl that easy... I think not.
Lol, I just realized that, as soon as I mentioned the word virgin, I got two women thinking about me...
Hey, you think that would work in real life???
Maybe this whole virgin thing is overlooked. I should be a virgin to all the women I make love too...
LOL LMAO oh my goodness, I kill myself sometimes

OOC: Sorry Indika, didn't mean to throw you a loop with that, if I did. Thought Sha'ara could provide some insight into the situation with her current clairvoyant sight. Cool!

Farlo

"Okay... so, if these are really bad guys... lets slice and dice" I said, jumping forward, swinging my lightsabre.

I realised mid-jump that I hadn't actually been in combat with one before... not in this body, at least. Three years in an Imperial cell hadn't done much to tone up my physical body. I may have 'my' memeroies back, but Jarko still had the body honed by the actual training (OOC: Well, thats what Farlo thinks). My memories of balance and co-ordination didn't match up.

Fortunately the force didn't seem to have the same doubts I did, and allowing myself to fall under its guidance, I felled two of the creatures, and turned to the last, as Tawain had felled two of his own. Between the pair of us, we made short work of it.

"These things aren't so tough" I said.

"Tawain! Farlo!"

We realised the hum's of our own lightsabres weren't the only ones we could here. Turned, we saw Sha'ara fighting as well, her own blade cutting through one of the creatures.

"Every time we drop one, at least two more take its place..." Tawain said.

"I'm not sure these things are even really alive" Sha'ara shouted, dropping another as we held her flanks against the onrushing creatures.

"They certainly don't look like they're going to get tired of this" I said.

My communicator started beeping. Tawain and Sha'ara glanced in my direction.

"Keep 'em busy, I've got a call..." I said. I looked at the small view screen on my communicator, which showed the White Hawk's sensor array.

"Oh hell, we've got company. The White Hawk's just started to pick up a number of Imperial vessels entering the system from lightdrive... I'm putting the Hawk into one of the moon's shadows, so they don't pick her up on their sensors... and sending an SOS to the New Republic fleet... we're going to need some help getting off this world now..."

I was glad I had installed some voice-activation systems on the Hawk.

"We'd better get hurrying and find whatever it is we're looking for" Tawain said.

OOC: Poohlive, I've always assumed the Death Stars must have some kind of lightdrive capability... little point in them otherwise. They just need to be very, very careful when making a jump, since due to their size, they have to arrive some distance outside of a system, so they don't go 'through' anything en-route. Planning a jump for an X-wing is tricky enough, let alone something the size of a small moon. I can't rememeber the actual mechanics about the Star Wars lightdrive jumps (remember reading it in the RPG game some time back, which one of my friends has), but I'm pretty sure that avoiding gravity wells and stuff is very important (why droids like R2D2, astromech units, are handy for plotting jumps). The ammount of energy the Death Stars produce (enough to blow up a planet) should be more than enough to also power a lightdrive on them. Which also suggests that arriving out of system gives them time to power back up for when they reach a position to attack the target planet. Otherwise, it could take years (+years+years...) for a Death Star to get to a rebellious system. Which doesn't exactly make them that threatening. 'Oh my, the Imperium is sending a Death Star against us...' - 'Don't worry, we've got several decades at least to plan an evacuation, lol'. OK... I might be taking this thread a little too seriously... but I think its just so cool.

Tawain

ooc: Kepic, Indika, I don't suppose you could've let me describe my own creatures?!!! ;)
Oh well, Indika's idea was not bad...I'd like to add a small correction, though...

ic:
As the three of them started to run again, Tawain said
"These creatures are from Shalos. They are made from the very sand we're walking and animated by the very field around us."
Sha'ara frowned at him, and Tawain hastily said
"I'm not saying you made a mistake! The thing that made them is alien... when the Sith slaughtered the Jedi of Shalos, they tainted the planet with the touch of the Dark Side. And from that taint these creatures arise, to destroy anything connected with the Light Side...I only hope that the empire cannot control them..."
It was Farlo's turn to frown.
"How do you know all that stuff?"
"I...don't know. I keep on having... memories surfacing in my mind...memories that are not from me. This way!"
They turned and entered a giant building, about the only one that still stood.
It should have been pitch dark inside, but on the walls were some sort of crystals which illuminated a great room, not unlike the entrance hall of a Jedi temple...

kayla

"Um, I haven't been given a light saber yet....." My mind seems to be on something else even as i levitate myself a little bit in order to better surpass the tricks of swampland....why i hand't thought of it sooner was beyond me.

OOC....the virgin thing may work for guys...but for women it's half and half...half guys don't believe and if they do they either think they are god's gift to women or are scared off by idea. Not going to say where of if i lost mine...*giggle*

Zen

Seems I was getting a little ahead of myself. Smiling, I hand her my second light saber and ask her "You ready to try some practices now?"

Taking my fighting stance, I ask "Do you want to go easy or do you want the full work out?" Wasn't sure how much she had already come on her own so I didn't want to push her to hard for our first try out.

balancing the lightsword in my hand testing the heft of blade. trying to get used to shimmer of lights.

"I've done some fencing in my past, let's have a go," I turn lightblade off do neat flip backwards land on open spot activate the lightsaber and with a smile murmur "en garde mon ami"

OOC i speak french a translation isn't necessary now..but i will give one later if I type more french

Zen

I raise an eyebrow at her little display of talent. Maybe I wouldn't have to go easy on her after all. For now at least, I would hold back just incase. Turning my saber back on, I charge forword and go for her legs. Kayla leaps over the blade then goes for my head. Blocking the blow with my saber, my eyes meet hers as I tell her "Not bad, you're much more advanced then I had thought."

She grins as she grabs my shirt and pulls me forword onto her. Her feet plant themselfs on my chest as she flips me over her head onto the floor. I land with a thud on my back then look back at her waiting for my next move. Pulling myself up I smile "Ready to go again?"

"mon ami, where is your finesse?" I'm agile since i was street kid and my body looked good from it, i had done a stint in a circus and when i let myself to be sold to the hutts in order to catch the man who killed my mother i learned a lot about wrestling from them. I was going to tell you as much but your face was so shocked I just giggled

"A light saber is a delicate weapon, you can't charge with it, and by the way I'm not left handed." As i switch blade from my left hand to my right hand.

"sure you want more punishment?"

OOC not sure who dad is....but it'll occur to me eventually

Sha'ara

As they entered the room, Sha'ara heard Farlo and Tawain gasp, as she was enveloped by the most beautiful and radiant sense of warmth and peace. It was indescribable how it made her feel. Sha'ara knew this was the place where they would find the object they had come for.

Sha'ara was breathless from the intense beauty that was surrounding her. She found a bench and sat down. Tawain approached her and asked if she was allright, touching her cheek. It was then she realized that her face was wet with tears. "Oh, Tawain, it feels so wonderful here. It's beautiful... if a choir of angels came down and started singing their hymns, it couldn't be more beautiful."

The moment of peace was disrupted by Farlo's announcement that an Imperial ship was approaching. "Well, then." Sha'ara stood up reluctantly, "We don't have much time, let's find this thing we came for."

Silently Sha'ara said a prayer to whatever presence she had felt just seconds ago that her friends would make it out alive.

Kepic: The Deathstar's don't have light speed. That doesn't mean they are slow, far from it. You can go fast in space, (according to Star Wars) without using light speed. Take the problem with Star Wars. The Deathstar had to ait to go all the way around that one planet before it could destroy the rebel base, and that took like 30 minutes... if it had light speed, they could have just whisked around the planet and been done with it...
There is no documentation of the Sith having a deathstar with light speed capabilites in any of the trilogy movies, and since this rpg is being played right after the movies, it goes along with it.

Ronag

(Is sitting on a log... probably getting drunk. Lol, oh no, wait he can't get drunk, no booze.
Well, we will see about that, he takes some wheat abd barley hanging around, and then uses the force to turn them into some Jedi Moonshine.... takes a few swigs, and passes out... oh yeah, isn't that fun.
Wait, Ronag can't do that. He isn't an alky... damn writers, always screwing things up {dodges typewriter} ok sorry.)

Ganor

(Hey wait a minute, can't write anything here either. Silver is driving, and Ganor is trying to fell her up. She keeps slapping him, then giving him a teasing smile. Then she realizes that he is Ganor, and not Ronag, so she keeps on driving.
Ok, yeah that is totally wrong... damn you writers. I am going to kick your ass {dodges computer screen} YOU WRITE AS BAD AS YOU THROW!!!! {Rest of the computer hits him} OOooowww!)

Zen

I can't help but smirk at her boldness towards my mistakes. My memory and skils had returned, but I was letting the fact that I had regained those skills make me more sloppy then I usualy am in battle.

After I clean off some dirt from my uniform, I tell her "You're good, Kayla. But I still got some tricks in my hat." Wait, I didn't have a hat on. Oh crap. Well maybe I could pull of a few tricks and get a victory here. Turning my saber back on, I begin to approach her again. Only this time I was not as careless as last time. This time I waited for her to make the first move.

When she tried to go for my head again, I ducked and did a leg sweep which knocked her to the floor. Before she could get up, I leap onto her and pinned her arms and legs down. She's unable to get me off, as I smile at her and ask "So, do you give up, or do you want to go another round?" Our eyes meet each others for a moment as we both stop our struggling. For a moment we both became lost in each others gaze.

Farlo

Something made me look up.

"The Imperium has arrived" I said.

"Farlo? You didn't get another warning from the White Hawk, how do you-" Tawain started to ask.

"I can sense my brother, up there..." I said, softly, "but... there's something not... right... about him..."

I shook my head, turning to look outside the entrance to the great chamber we now were inside, at the lumbering red-stone beasts that were gathering beyond.

"They're not following us in" I said, "but they're certainly gaining in numbers out there".

We starting to look around, cautiously, not knowing what to expect, despite the feeling of warmth and security. Glowing crystals set into the walls illuminated the chamber, and as I blew away some dust from a portion of one the walls, I saw some ancient Jedi script, intermingled with pictograms of some kind.

"I can't read this stuff, can either of you?" I asked, "hey, that looks like Yoda... er, a bunch of Yoda's" I added, pointing to one of the pictograms.

OOC: OK Poohlive, I've been doing a little 'research' on the matter anyway, and you're right, the Death Star was supposed to 'drift' through the galaxy invoking terror to keep the Imperial systems in check, in place of the Senate that Palpatine dissolved. Oh well, guess that will mean by the time the Emperor reaches 'Shalos' himself, the black pyramid should be rebuilt anyway. Works for me :D

The Vengeance

Moff Truan stood looking down at the planet below.

"Looks like just one huge unihabited wasteland down there" he said, "I don't understand why the Emperor see's that planet as important, but... send a message back to the Emperor's Death Star, inform him my fleet has arrived at Kirath, and then begin launching the probe droids, lets see what we can find down there..."

"Yes sir" replied the nearby lieutenant.

Jarko looked down again, and shook his head. "I... no" he muttered, as a strange feeling swept over him momentarily. If he still had any knowledge of Jedi powers, the remenants of which still lurked deep in his subconcious, he would have known what that feeling meant, but instead, he dismissed it.
