Starting Over (Closed)

[NickisSora]

-8 hours later James was in the er strapped to the bed. Terry laid in a personal ER bed from Callies words. Terry slowly woke up and his body hurt,cut and destroyed.-

When the seditive had worn off Callie had been taken to Terry's room were she had pulled a chair to the bedside and laid her head in his lap waiting for him to wake up before she eventually passed back out Cora set in the other chair in the room keeping a visual over the both of them as anger sung in her viens.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry slowly opened his eyes and looked around.-"Callie....Cora..."-he said softly.-"Where is Jason....is he arrested?"

Cora shushed Terry and pointed at his lap so he would notice Callie sleeping in his lap. She moved closer. "Yes James is underarresst but he still at the hospital receiving medical attention and guarded by police." She looked down at Callie "They had to give her a sedetive so she would calm down when she found out you had been shot. She fooled them into thinking it had worn off long enough for them to let her in her with you where she promtly became just like she is now." Cora told him with a fond smile on her face.

-Terry winced and laid back and looked to her.-"I feel so bad....I had to protect her though....."-he winced feeling horrible he kissed Cora's cheek and fell asleep to relax gently a hand on Callie's head.-

Callie came to a few hours later to a weight on her head instinctivly she knew it was nuzzled against his hand. "Terry?" She whispered drozily fighting to open her eyes.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry was still sleeping and was in terrible pain his body was barely moving but his heart was pumping.-

Callie opened her eyes to remeber where they were and to see him still sleeping and looked to Cora. "Did he up yet?" She asked softly.

"Yeah but only for a few minutes a couple of hours ago the nurse should be in soon to check him again he's been a bit restless like he's in pain but his hand has not moved from your head since he woke earlier." She told Callie with a soft smile.

Callie smiled back at her and held his hand hoping he would wake up for her soon she just wanted to beable to look into his eyes. The nurse came by and gave him some pain meds in his iv and left Callie and Cora in a silent Visual over the man they both loved with all their hearts. Each eager for when he would awake next.

 

[NickisSora]

-feeling his hand being held Terry open his eyes and looked.-"Callie."-he smiled gently and looked to Cora as well.-"I am glad you are ok."

A soon as he said her name Callie began crying softly lifting his hand and kissing it tenderly as she cryed tears of joy at seeing him open his eyes. Asfter a few moment Callie pulled back wiping her eyes "Don't you ever scar me like that again Terry I swear I'll kill you my self doi you understand me?" She paused for a moment her anger quickly washing away. "God I love you Terry I'm so glad your okay." She held his hand to her cheek rubbing against it.

-Terry was a bit shocked and bit his lip but when she said those words he looked to her.-"I had to protect you i prosed i would."-he smiled as he looked around a bit.-"I will be ok you have to work..."-he said gently.-

She laughed a little "Actually no I don't I got kicked out of the office and told I was under .......... hell I don't remeber but they told me I was off for a month and not to come back a day sooner so I get to stay home and doctor you." She leaned forward tenderly and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

 

[NickisSora]

-He kissed her lips back.-"I am happy to hear that....I feel bad you can not work."-he said as he winced.-"which reminds me i have to call my job."-with his uninjured arm he lightly held her close.-

"Rest love Cora already took care of it." She laid hand to his uninjured shoulder. "All you have to worry about is getting that handsome but of your better so we can plan our future and I can spend the rest of my life thank you for your brave stupidity." She kissed him softly not wanting to had to his pain in any way.

 

[NickisSora]

-He just smiled after the kiss.-"hey...I saved you..."-he chuckled.-"I will rest then you get to work..."-he smiled and rested up. It was 12 more hours before he woke his pain was so insane he opened his eyes to see Cora again.-"Morning?"-he asked in question.-

Cora smiled at her brother and nodded before looking to the couch where Callie was curled up sleeping softly.

"She won't leave you." She said softly.

 

[NickisSora]

-He shook his head and held his stomach.-"Could you get a nurse to get breakfast for me?"-he asked kindly. After Cora came back he looked to Callie.-"She needs to work i will be here and she can probbably get my room to nurse."-he said sadly.-

Cora shook her head, "They won't let her come back something about trama she has to take a month off then has to pass a phyic eval before they will let her back but hey at least they are paying her for the month off. Besides it's not like she doesn't deserve the break since she came back from your place the last time the only time she isn't at work is long enough to catch a few hours sleep then she goes right back in."

She looked softly at Callie as she sat beside her brother. "I think this is the most she has slept in weeks."

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry smiled and thought about it as the food came and he began to eat.-"I feel better though...My arm and shoulder suck but i am ok other wise...I heel pretty quick."-he chuckled.-

Callie woke to the sound of Terry's laugh and smiled as she sat up before even opening her eyes his name on her lips. "Terry." When she opened her eyes and looked at him they softened in sympathy she felt so bad about everything he was going through had been really since they got together all the travling and extra work. She wished there was a way she could make it easier on him.

-Terry smiled and looked.-"Hey lovely..."-he smiled.-"How was your sleep."

"Not as good as when I'm next to you but better than it has been." She commented and rose from couch to lean over and kiss his head while he ate his breakfast before she stepped into the bathroom.

-Three months went by, with that Terry and Callie found a apartment close to her home and they smiled agreed to get ready. In the latest month he had friends help him move in since he was not much use. Terry paid for two months and still had some extra left. about 500 or so. terry called Callie and told her to get ready next week as he will be picking her up on Friday. When Friday came he let Callie know he was on his way.-

Callie was nervous about moving in with Terry. She loved their apartment and had went to buy a few things to throw in storage that she thought would look good in the apartment and so no one would know she really didn't own anything. She hoped Terry wouldn't realize how little it really was or that it was all new never before used. While she had been with James everything had been his and she had never beenable to buy anything. Now she was nervous that Terry would either figure it out or he wouldn't like any of the things she had bought.

-Terry smiled as he parked his car walking to the door of Cora and knocking on it waiting to be let in. Callie had been sounding a bit odd on the phone lately the past month specially. Terry was worried and would soon comfort her.-
