Remember all the excitement over the GOP's problems? They pale in comparison to what Democrats have on their hands. Their party is officially in a world of shit.

Their top contender for president is the main focus of an FBI criminal investigation.
The Beast's accusations that the GOP is behind the allegations is laughable and an insult to the intelligence of her voters - the IG and Loretta Lynch are both Obama appointees. Her support is dwindling against a loudmouth asshole of her GOP opponent. The party has to be worried. Their only alternatives are Bernie Sanders - a worn out Communist leftover from the sixties, or Joe Biden, a buffoon who is also a terrible campaigner - just like The Beast. Yeah, the polls say Bernie would beat Trump in November, but he'll fold like a cheap tent over the course of the campaign. He'll be exposed for what he is, and Trump will crush him in a debate.

Finally, Debbie Washingmachine Schultz, perhaps the most obnoxious party chairman since Terry McCauliffe, has one foot on the banana peel and is close to being shown the door.

Aside from all that, they're in pretty good shape.

I agree with you that an Obama DOJ is not going to indict her for all the reasons you point out but I am not sure that is going to be necessary. The slow drip of information is picking up some momentum and some of the back stories are starting to come together. I imagine this would be enough evidence to insure she would not be elected if there was another opponent running against her.

In fact, Washington Free Beacon reported last year that Clinton signed an NDA at the start of her time at the State Department acknowledging the very laws she is now clearly in violation of.

For those of you keeping score at home, the Federal Records Act lays it out pretty clearly: (18 U.S. Code § 2071)

(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
