Story edits disappeared?

I have been waiting for 3 weeks for edits to go through on a story. The edited version disappeared from the pending and no edits were made. What happened and how do I get edits to go through?

step 2: Resubmit again, and include a statement in the Notes to the editor field on the submission form. The statement would say the same thing you said here, and it would say you submitted a big about it.

I suggest waiting a day or so. There's probably a lag between the edits being reviewed and showing up in the published story.

I stopped checking mine two weeks after having the same problem that the OP has. It wasn't fixed then. But I just went to check it now, over a month later, and the edit has finally showed up. Not sure exactly how long it took though.

Thanks, I've had one languishing for two weeks, this at least gives me some hope it will be gotten to some day.

Edits are low priority for the site, can easily take 2 - 3 weeks, even longer.
