Story events order opinion

Sounds like it might be time to start writing :)

You won't be able to plan out every detail in advance anyway, and the story will get a life of it's own.

Be careful not to end up just thinking about the story rather than writing it - how else will everyone else enjoy it? :)

I don't have a particularly strong opinion about the order. I think that's up to you and your tastes. If I were in your shoes I'd be focusing on the overall story arc. How will the story end, and how will you get there? Stories of this sort work best when there's a "ratcheting up" feeling where with each chapter the conduct is more outrageous and extreme, but also where there's a feeling that the story is headed somewhere, as opposed to "let's see what degrading thing we can make her do this week." There's nothing wrong with this overall sort of noncon/degradation kink story, but I'd suggest thinking through the overall story before worrying too much about individual chapters and what order they should be in.

Your story concept is extremely ambitious in that you have so many chapters. If I were you I would focus on quality and not just quantity. Stories with very short chapters tend not to do as well as stories with longer chapters where each one stands on its own as a well-developed story.
That probably is the big issue for me is not being sure where/how to end it, or honestly if I even should, or just leave it sort of open ended. I feel there's only so far I can take it, then it pretty much 'she's his slave and will do anything he wants and her husband is either clueless or too cowardly to confront them'. The fun for the guy is in owning/controlling her, but behind the husband's back. If that were to change it would ruin his fun/the story.

I've been told in the past to keep stories short, like two pages, give or take a bit, and that makes sense to me. I personally have trouble with long drawn out stories, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. I can appreciate a longer story if it's well written and the build up to 'the good stuff ' is sufficiently exciting. But I think most of us really want to get to 'the good stuff' as quick as possible. As such, the first chapter will probably have to be a bit longer due to laying the backstory down and building up to their first time. But future chapters will be able to skip more straight to 'the good stuff'. Like presumably you've read previous chapters so you know these two have been fucking... This time we find them in hotel room (probably not the first time)...and GO!

If its that important to you to get it perfect, dont publish chapter by chapter, instead write everything, get some scenes down and then move things around and rejig the lead ins to each scene

I know I won't be able to plan out everything, and it doesn't have to be perfect, but I want it as close as I can get. I really just want a basic skeleton in the sense of the order of events so readers don't feel like it's going backwards and so as I do come up with new ideas I have an idea of where they fit in with other events. I have already started the first chapter (which may itself have to be broken down into more than one chapter) I just don't want to get ahead of myself. I already wrote a lot of a similar story that's partially a base reference for this one, but parts of it don't work so well together/parts need to be rewritten. I have no intention of publishing that one, but knowing how things don't match up and such will help me make sure this new story works and comes across cohesive without me having to do a lot of rewriting and shuffling stuff around.

Honestly though, biggest problem probably is too much thinking, not enough writing šŸ˜‚ Planned to do some writing tonight after I got off work, but I got off twelve hours ago and haven't written a word. But I do feel like discussing it in this forum is helping me iron out my ideas/get the chain of events locked down.

Not exactly the question that you're asking, but maybe start with some non sexual acts. She fetches something for him, breaks the speed limit, shoplifts something, is rude to someone, or other behaviors that are out of character for her. This establishes the growing power he has over her and can then transition into the sex acts.

These are all matters of personal taste. Many readers agree with you.

I have a suggestion, to support a story arc and keep things interesting.

Increase her degree of submission and slavery with each chapter. In the early going, have her submit, but not completely. Maybe she has a plan, or plans, to escape her submission, but he keeps foiling her. Maybe he plays with her and gives her chances to escape, but she fails them and has to come back to him. The story ends with her completely accepting her submission. It will give the story extra spice and heft beyond just the "here's today's degradation" flavor.

I don't think I'm a good enough writer (just not creative enough sometimes) to create any way out for her. For various reasons I want to have him record their encounters, and pretty much once he's gotten her to sleep with him the first time it won't be so important how he convinced her in the first place because he'll have video evidence of her infidelity to hold over her. Over time he'll build up a library of videos as often as they get together so she should have little to no chance of destroying or getting ahold of all the evidence. Plus with the early chapters I want her seduced and having feelings for the new guy, not simply having him be a cold hearted bastard. She has to believe he loves/cares for her in order for her to be seduced, then gradually it's revealed he has dirty plans for her, but even as she's led into depravity she still believes the new guy cares.

The only ending I can really think of that is satisfying to me is she has the baby and life just goes on. She's secretly this guy's slave, but still married to her husband and the only ending is leaving readers with the question of whether or not her husband knows.

Well, some readers like that notional ellipsis, filling in the future with their own ideas. Some readers will probably prefer her to ditch the husband for the master because it's possibly more realistic that way. Some readers generally prefer to see everything wrapped up and sealed with a bow, some readers like ambiguity. Chances are you won't please them all, so it's probably best to please yourself.

The issue to me is that she's supposed to love her husband, not 100% sure what I'm going to use as the reason she's not getting everything she needs from him, though I have a few ideas. So she definitely doesn't want to leave/lose her husband, but she's also been seduced by 'Master' and has feelings for him however he may treat her.

So yeah, I could try to find a way for her to break free from 'Master' and live happily ever after with her husband, but I just don't see a way for that to happen. I want him to film everything and have a mountain of evidence to hold against her so if she tries to leave him/ignore him, etc. he could potentially show her husband (and everyone who knows her) plenty of dirty footage of her infidelity. I could have something like that happen and she ends up Master's slave, but that feels too dark and sad. Which some people may like as well, but I'm leaning towards more of a middle ground which also feels more realistic. There is no happy ending, but there's also not a dark, sad ending, it's more of an open ended, 'life just goes on' and she has to accept this is her life now, because in real life there isn't always a happy/sad ending. Also it leaves the possibility open for future chapters I haven't yet come up with in case any new ideas occur to me.

I'd start writing, if I were you, and let the character develop. As you progress I suspect the answer will become clearer for you.

I’m sure what you write will find an audience. In most cases if you write on the topics you enjoy and a style that you enjoy, others will enjoy it.

It may take a while to find your audience, but I they are out there.
