Story not getting reviewed?

Hi, I've been trying to publish a story but it isn't getting through the review stage. I don't think I've done anything different to usual but it's been stuck in "pending" for over a month. At one point very early on after it had been stuck around a week I modified and resubmitted it but that didn't make a difference. Is there any help available? Thanks.

The official advice from Literotica (linked above) says what not to do before it has been Pending for up to 30 days. That is: Don't mess with it, allow it to move through the queue, the process.

They don't say what to do after 30 days, yet they know that authors have been working around it, and successfully breaking the "permanently pending" logjam, by deleting the original story submission and then submitting the same work again as a new item. Best practice when doing this might be to include a statement in the Notes field on the story submission form. One would state that this is what is happening, and call out the broken service level statement that appears to promise to handle it within 30 days.

So, Literotica doesn't say to do that after 30 days, but they very conspicuously don't say not to. They say don't do that before 30 days.

So as of right now I can't tell whether you mean to say your story has been pending for 30 days in total, or, for 30 days minus that first week. Give it until 30 days past the submission date you can see in the Pending tab.

If you have another story ready to be posted, a test you can try is to go ahead and submit the other story now. If that story stays in pending status too, then there might be an issue beyond your control. If that story goes through, then you might want to consider deleting the first story and submitting it as new. It may work, it may not work. As always my opinion and YMMV
