At the top of the rocky cliffs above Eldon emerged from the large opening of his cave and looked down at the flickering fire on the beach below. Head heard the familiar symphony of the ship crashing against the rocks of the jetty and had thought that the search for any survivors might have taken him some effort but lucky for him they were making it easy for him.
After a quick few steps Eldon took flight, soaring high above the coastline of the island before he stilled his wings against the buffeting wind then glided along, taking in information he could about him. As he passed the moon that hung low on the horizon anyone looking on might have caught his silhouette as he glided past it. After a brief pass Eldon glided over to the edge of the beach then touched down before making his way through the shadows to get a better look at them.
Eric offered a shrug when she stopped him from taking the trousers off altogether. To him it seemed more practical to salvage whatever clothing they could to protect themselves from the elements but apparently she had other ideas which was fine.
As she talked him through it Eric readied the thin planks and the rope, prepared to splint it once she'd managed to set the bone. Though he'd seen his share of gore over the years he could never quite shake the knot that formed in his stomach seeing it but he did his best to push through it. "Ok, I think I'm set." he said, though he was concerned that even if they managed to set it, in an environment like this managing infections wouldn't be all that easy.
