Hi Stryder ~ apologies for not jumping on your question sooner, I've been distracted by RL.

What do you bring to lit? A thread that is always a safe place, hosted by a gentleman, with a warm soul, and a romantic spirit. You remind all of us that the moments of innocent romance are indelible and can alter our very souls and rock our worlds in ways that more explicit words and images and acts cannot do.

You model a kind of hospitality and generous spirit that can sometimes be difficult to find in a place where people have developed protective hard edges, snark and cynical rejoinder.

And you are consistent..Your gentle kind spirit does not stop on the boards but continues just the same in PM. No pouncing, no assumptions, just kindess for kindness.

And...I am not being "kind" I am being honest. And I believe the truth of my words can be seen in the number of other posters who pointed to them as seeming to have captured something true in response to your query.

Like you, I too have worked to carve out places where I "fit" here. My Cascadia thread some have called "iconic" and looks like nothing else on Lit. And my novella thread with Mr T is a story thread unlike any other roleplay or story thread heretofore posted. Even my Hairotica thread in fetish has a different feel than most picture threads...And I like to think that a thread once started by Honey, but shepherded ever since by me, is a safe place for a certain kind of romance. Your model of hospitality...Has informed my own..And I thank you.

RL is fine. Just busy. And a new laptop is taking some getting used to. Lol.
