Stryder's house of romance

Dear Stryderthorongil:rose:

As I ponder thoughts laying in bed
I came across this refreshing thread
I peek in it, signs of romance is here
It is something I value as I draw near
The contemplation of letting this die
Of this beautiful thread, I ask you why?
Where true romance is not respected
By some, a torch still flames protected
Please know, never let this thread fail
It helps to see what I want in a male
I read your profile, you will not cheat
Remind me, a good man I can meet
*Wink* you see this and know it's true
Never boastful, one of real nice value
What tempts an awaiting, patient heart
Getting to the yearned for, good part
Remind us all what true romance is
In a place set up on Lit, get back to biz!
At a time when true romance seems lost
Let this thread shine bright, embossed:rose:

Hi BCC,

This is quite sweet and very nice. Thank you for writing so eloquently. 😊

Why? Let it die? I've struggled to maintain the passion. Many weeks I was only posting to myself and although there were many visits, few were posting. Also, my most ardent visitors all left Lit. I got lonely, and I deal with that enough in real life. I still wander in now and then looking for posts like yours. Still makes me smile and gives me hope. So, please visit often and leave your words, images, music...whatever spreads the romance. If you do, I will see you. 🌹💞

I have thought about making this a regular thread I may visit. I have noticed this thread before. Thank you for the invite *smiling*🌟

Sitting by the fire contemplating life. Just learned that another lit friend passed away in September. I had lost touch with her, but she posted many times in this thread. Rest In Peace Peggy (msmaggie)💞🌹.

Oh Stryder... I am so sorry.

Such a reminder to make every day count.
RIP msmaggie

"It isn’t easy to get out of the well-worn ruts our minds make for us. The ordinary days have a way of lulling us into believing there isn’t any urgency to them; that somewhere off in the distance, we’ll actually begin doing the important stuff we need to do. We’ll start living someday." ~ John Pavlovitz
