Thank you Sassy. The funeral was hard, but we move on. It will take some time, but thank you for the hug.Stopping by to offer you really late hugs, and enjoy your fire. I hope you are feeling a little better. Loss is never easy.![]()

Good morning SB.We have a little snow this morning. I need to go out and fill the bird feeders. I have a nice path through the woods and might take a walk too. You can join me if you wish, but I kind of like the idea in your attached image better

Everything you list plus Hairy and Downy woodpeckers, Pilated woodpeckers, red headed and red bellies woodpeckers, Flickers, vireos, juncos, lots of sparrows, morning doves, Cooper hawks (which eat the morning doves), tufted titmouse, hmmmm, might be more but I can't find my list. What kind of birds keep you company? We have lots of cardinals, nuthatches, chicadees and american goldfinches. The goldfinches are my favorite! We have a real asshole BlueJay that comes around too. Yeah, I refer to him as the asshole BlueJay...

Tufted titmouseI had a woodpecker this summer who liked to peck my windows. Maybe he was conceded and enjoyed his reflection! Haven't seen many since! I am not familiar with tufted titmouses, sounds like a Dr. Suess character! I'll have to look them up!
That just means there are to many sparrowsThey are cute! I believe I have heard their song before, but don't recall seeing one unless they were female. Imo all little brown birds are sparrows.![]()
