Submission labeled both "pending" and "published".

I have been having problems submitting my story. It was originally rejected for explicitly saying it was a true story. I made changes and resubmitted. But now, it remains under the "pending" tab for a while but is tagged as "published", although I have zero published stories in the "published" tab. I also have an older draft I explicitly "delete"d but it didn't delete. It is still there in drafts.

edit: I tried deleting again just now that worked this time.

Is it marked "New" with a publish date a day or two into the future?

That means the story was approved, and given a publishing date in the future.

The date on my pending story in this picture is Aug. 25, that's when it will go live.

(My story is for a writing challenge with a set publishing date, that's why it's so far in the future. Usually the publishing date will be just one or two days in the future!)

If you mess with it, it will get pulled back out of the publishing queue and the process will have to start over. It sounds like you panicked and deleted the story, so sadly you'll have to start over with it

Resubmit just as you did before, and be patient this time!

I think the OP deleted another, earlier draft. Let's hope so, for their sake!

ohh okay, I think I understand what they were saying now.

Anyway yes, don't touch the "Published New" story, and it will go live soon!

There must be something about the 25th. This showed up the other day.
