Summer Romance (CLOSED)

Tristan smirked as he took the bathing suit and slipping it on, he nodded to her easily. " All right Lexi, see you at dinner." He mused as he headed into the cabin. By that time a few of the other guys had come back. Lexi had been right there was a social gathering that happened as a result of him having the fan, and Tristan was good with people, so he made friends easily.

The next few hours passed quickly and soon enough they had met up in the main mess hall for dinner. The camp director gave the usual welcome spiel and Tristan simply looked over to Lexi a few times and smiled. He didn't fawn like a puppy, but he simply shared a nice little smile with her.

They would be paired by the camp director after the staff meeting that night, so he headed back to his cabin. He wanted to have a shower before that meeting

Lexi noticed him looking her way more then once during dinner. She couldn't figure out why though. There where plenty of other girls around, most of them more attractive then her and probably more then willing to spend some time pleasing him. But yet he was still staring at her.

After dinner she went back to her cabin, once again, and settled into her bed for a while before their meeting.

Tristan smirked as he gave her a curious look at one point and shrugged. Even as he DID chat with a few of the other women whom were working there as well, Lexi seemed to have some self esteem issues if she did not think that she was one of the more beautiful women there. He didn't pressure the issue though, after all they had all summer, and if she didn't want to have some fun, well he would end up hooking up with someone else.

As she returned to her cabin a few of the other girls were there as well, so Tristan stayed away. One of the guys in his cabin had a stereo and so music was coming from his cabin, but other than that it was quiet until meeting time. Tristan showed up early as he had seen the camp directors cabin and knew seating was a premium, so he settled into one of the couches and relaxed easily.

"You took my spot." Lexi said as she walked in "your just everywhere today." She said sitting down on top of him when he didn't move from the seat "if I didn't know better then I'd think you where trying to sleep with me."

He had to laugh as she said that he had taken her spot. " I wasn't aware that you were claiming dibs on the spot." He teased, but even as she sat on top of him he let out a little oomph sound but grinned as she said that.

" Oh it might be in the cards. You seem to enjoy teasing just out of reach though." He admitted. He wrapped his arms around her small waist as he relaxed... the meeting would be starting soon. " It makes me wonder if you'd like that." He whispered only to her as he wondered if she was interested in that.

Lexi didn't reply to his comment, instead just paying attention to what was going on during the meeting. In the back of her mind though she wondered if maybe that was exactly what she wanted.

Tristan smirked as she didn't say anything, and neither did he. It was the basic welcoming meeting, there were snacks and a few 'get to know your fellow counselors exercises. It was the usual stuff. For Lexi she knew it all to well he was sure, for Tristan some of it is new, and some of it was older stuff.

Even as he looked to her out of the corner of his eye wondering what she thought. He didn't pressure the issue... if anything it was just nice to have her sitting on his lap!

After the meeting was over most of the councilors stayed around to chat and get to know each other better. Lexi got up from Tristan's lap "I'm going to head back to my cabin..." She said as before she started to walk off.

Tristan smiled as he did the obligatory " Hi my name is Tristan i'm from San Fransisco..." Spiel, and even as she got up from his lap he found he missed her being there, though as she said that he got up and headed out after her. " Care for some company on the walk?" The counselors were all staying, so it was only the two of them. The main directors cabin had the booze after all, during pre camp and change over days it was very much allowed, just not when the kids were in session.

Tristan was curious though if she did want to 'hook up', or not.

"Sure..." Lexi said as she kept walking "I've never hooked up with anyone at camp... It's not really like me to do anything like that." She said "I don't know that I could..."

He smiled as she agreed to hiss keeping her company, and even as she admitted that he chuckled gently. " I have to admit I don't do it all that often. There's always the summer hookups." He mused, though he looked to her as she added that part.

" Are you interested in the idea though Lexi? I mean, if I pushed you into an empty cabin and bent you over a bed, would you really complain?" He asked curiously as he continued on with her.

"I don't think that would be the way to go about it." She said "I guess that's the thing that makes me hesitant. Summer hookups aren't ever very romantic..."

He chuckled as she said that, but he nodded. " That's true. It's tough to be romantic in an atmosphere where there's no privacy really." He remarked, though he was thinking things over. " What about just finding an empty spot and relaxing beneath the stars? We don't have to do anything." He was being quite thoughtful about it, which told her he wasn't just a player looking for his first 'score'.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Lexi said as she looked around trying to remember if she knew of any private spots.

He smiled as she agreed to his suggestion, and even as she looked around he snapped his fingers. " I remember!" He exclaimed as he grinned. " There was a spot I saw on the way in, it looked like a nice little opening in the forest." He remarked as he headed off.

It was off the beaten path but soon enough they did come to a nice glade like spot that had a clear view of the sky. " There, we made it!" He remarked happily... he not just thinking of sex, but rather of being romantic and thoughtful. On the way he had stopped by one of the cabins and pulled a blanket, so he set it out for them to relax on.

"Thanks." Lexi said as she sat down "so what is it that made you decide to come here this summer?" She asked trying to start a conversation "why the change? Most people I know tend to find a place they like and stay there."

He smiled as she thanked him, but he nodded. " You're right, and while I was happy where I was, I realized after three summers that I didn't have it in me to deal with the problems that came with learning disabled children." He admitted, though he sighed. " It's such a drain on one's energy really, and I know it's not their fault I don't blame them at all, but I wanted to do one final summer where I could have some fun, help some kids, but really not have to work as hard just to get them out the door." He mused, though he smiled slightly.

" What about you? What brings you out summer after summer?" He had no idea that this was going to be her last summer as well.

"It's a job. Something to do for the summer. I just like doing it." She said "I'm not sure I'm going to miss it next summer though. It's difficult to be running around in the hot sun all day."

He chuckled ever so slightly, though he nodded. " It isn't the easiest of jobs to do that's for sure." He replied, though he looked to her. " What are you planning to do next?" He was curious about her. Besides, being romantic was sharing yourself with another, being thoughtful to them. Tristan was doing his best to be that for Lexi. Not just to sleep with her, but because he felt a slight kindred spirit with her.

"Honestly I'm not completely sure what I'll be doing. I have one last year of college after this and then who knows what will happen..." Lexi said as she laid down "I'm just hoping everything will work out well."

He nodded. " What are you in college for?" He asked curiously as he relaxed, propping himself onto one elbow he looked to her. The moonlight lit her up nicely, so he didn't actually need anything but that to see her, but he added. " Seems we're both coming to a junction in our lives. No wonder we're contemplating a summer romance." He remarked with a smile.

" Hey, roll onto your belly, i'll give you a massage, and you can relax." he gently offered, she knowing he was using it as a reason to touch her, but well, could she really blame him?

Lexi did as he asked and turned over onto her stomach "I'm going going for music education." She said "so even after this I'll still probably be working with kids."

He smiled as she turned over, and as she said that Tristan nodded. " that's a good field." He mused, though he moved and kneeling by her side he smiled gently. His warm strong hands moved and began to massage her shoulders and upper back as he regarded her.

" I take it you enjoy working with children, just not so much the hot climate and bugs?" He asked with a smile... he proving quite the good masseuse!

"Yeah. The heat and bugs and stuff just isn't all that fun." She said closing her eyes as she enjoyed the feel of his hands "what about you what are you hoping to do after this summer?" She asked.

He smiled as she admitted that she wasn't a fan of the heat or bugs, he nodded to himself, though as she asked him what he was planning to do he gave a slight shrug. " My family has a small business out in San Francisco, so once i'm done having fun here I am taking it over. I just finished my university degree for business administration."

He worked his hands down her back before he gently hiked up her shirt and worked on her bare lower back. " So i'll have to trade my shorts for a suit. I don't really mind, the company works on new solutions for kids, we come up with different inventions to help out parents, and then sell the rights to the bigger companies." He worked on her though as he seemed to certainly be letting her feel both wanted, and that he would respect her if she wanted to stop.
