Summertime Blues (for Zoe)

How could she be mad with him when he spoke to her like that. She sighed, throwing a leg over his thighs as she brought her head to rest on his chest.

“Well I suppose that I can forgive.” Her fingers traced over his features before resting on his cheek, holding him whilst she kissed his other cheek,
“Who said you would have been done? I just need a little break after two, eye rolling, toe curling screaming orgasms in a row.” She whispered, amusing herself by throwing back to the second orgasm she ever gave him.
“Did the power go out or did we do that?” She asked laughing as the rain bartered off the window, distant thunder joining in

Tommy shrugged again. “It usually takes a while before I can get hard again after cumming,” he said, almost apologetically. “And yeah, looks like the power is still out,” he said. Lightning lit up the sky outside their window, and the winds suddenly howled louder. The crash of thunder was quite sudden, rattling the windows. “Fuck,” he said, and then a moment later, they both heard sirens start to wail. “Shit,” Tommy said, pushing himself up. “There’s a tornado.”

“Tommy?” Her voice was unsure, unsettled, afraid.
“What do we do?! I’ve always avoided them before, I don’t know what we do!” She sat up clutching at his hand

Tommy squeezed her hand, reassuring her as he looked over at her. “Have you never been in a tornado before?” he asked, even though he already knew the answer before she shook her head. “Okay, real quick, and I mean real fucking quick, go to your room and throw some clothes on. We need to get downstairs.” He sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed. “Hurry!”

He grabbed his pajama pants from his dresser and stepped into them, and a tee shirt quickly followed before he went over to his desk, opening a drawer and pulling out a flashlight. He turned it on and then grabbed a couple of candles from the shelf above his desk before heading out into the hallway.

Ellie had been fortunate enough to have never experienced a summer in the state, this being the first year she stayed, in her state of fear she forgotten all she had been taught before.

She ran to her room, flinging open a drawer to pull on jeans, the next for a top, grabbing a jumper, the covers from her bed and some socks from the floor she ran back out to the hall.

She needed Tommy.

“Come on,” Tommy said. The sirens were still wailing outside. He took her hand and led her down the stairs. He stopped for a moment to grab his cigarette lighter and phone out of his discarded pants, and then continued on through the house to the kitchen, and opened the door to the basement.

He switched on the flashlight as he turned to her. “Everything’s gonna be fine,” he assured her.

Her legs felt like jello, probably not helped by the quite intense situation they had just experienced, but it made it very difficult to keep her feet moving.

The basement, usually creepy anyways, was a open mouth of darkness, she flicked the switch despite knowing the lights would not come on. Ellie slowly made her way down into the dark, the light from Tommy barely making any headway. As she reached the bottom she moved a little from the stairs then stood frozen. Black

All around and she had nowhere to go, she looked behind her for him. Thanking every god she could remember that he was here.
“I’m really scared.” She whispered

Tommy came down the stairs right behind her, keeping the flashlight trained on the floor ahead of Ellie so she could see her footing. He slid his arm around her from behind, his hand resting on her lower belly, and pulled her back against him.

“We’re gonna be fine,” he said, holding her close. He set the flashlight down for a moment and struck his lighter, lighting one of the candles, and set it nearby. It was still quite dark, of course. “Over here,” he said, taking her hand and leading her through a maze of boxes and bins.

He led her to a back corner of the basement, opposite the laundry, where she discovered there was an old sofa and a chair and a coffee table with a few big books spread out. “Here we go,” Tommy said, setting the candle down on the coffee table.

It was as he led her through the terrifying dark maze she realised how she was supposed to be with him that night. How she had been drawn to him so often before, tonight someone knew she would need him, pushed her towards him so he could protect her. She thanked what or who had ordained this as she sat down on the sofa.

“How long do you think it will last?” She asked, pulling her bundle onto her lap, before laughing “It’s just as well I was already in your bed huh?”

Her eyes adjusted ever so slightly to the space, the small light there was showing various boxes, if it was going to be his summer project to look through, she wanted to help him.
“You are going to sit beside me right?!” She asked pleading to him, post orgasm bliss and fear making her feel the need to attach herself to him.

Tommy promptly sat down right beside her, and turned on his phone, pulling open the weather app and hoping he had a data signal. Fortunately, he did, and in short order the app was showing him the radar map of their area. “Looks like it’ll blow past us in about twenty minutes,” he said. He put his hand on her thigh and gave it a squeeze.

He looked over at her. “You’ve really never been in a tornado, huh?” It suddenly occurred to him that he really didn’t know very much about her background at all. He shook his head. “I figured you were from around here. Where the hell are you from, anyways?”

Ellie pulled her feet up under herself as her hand found Tommy.

“Oh I thought you knew, Idaho. Usually I go back for summer and well I guess I have been fortunate really. I mean thank you I did sort of freak out up there, obviously we shelter downstairs!” She let out a little laugh,

“Two parents, one older brother, no significant other, what do you want to know.” Her fingers rubbed along His arm, resisting the urge to kiss it

Tommy looked down at her fingers rubbing along his arm, and then back up to her. She was so damn pretty!

“Everything,” he said, before leaning in and kissing her again on the lips!

Her hand moved up to hold his cheek, giggling slightly as she gave him a series of short kisses whispering “stop it! It’s giving me flashback spasms!” Before she rested her forehead against his,
“Ended up here cause it was the closest I could get to New York, and I liked saying I was near St Louis.” She smiled at her own trivial reasoning before nodding, “I’m glad i did.” She whispered as her lips met his briefly.

“I was thinking, if you wanted me to, and you wanted to, if you wanted,” she rambled speaking softly, “if you wanted to look down here and, I don’t know talk about it or something or anything or not or whatever.” She stopped taking a deep breath, “I’m free.”

That was really sweet of her. He gently squeezed her thigh again. “I’ll keep that in mind,” he said. “But maybe when we’ve got power, huh?”

The sirens had stopped by this point, but they could hear that the storm was still raging. “Wait, Idaho, really? I didn’t think anyone actually lived there,” he said. “You are definitely the first person I’ve ever met from Idaho.”

“I don’t know Tommy, could be interesting in the dark.” She smiled, though it faltered as she heard the noise above.

“Of course we do! And then we leave swiftly when we can!” She laughed appreciating his effort to keep her calm, “But I landed possibly worst of all, in a big farm state, all you ever do is bbq too!” She nudged him with her head, “I can’t wait to have power, everything tonight has woken me up too much.”

“Hopefully there’s not too much damage out there,” Tommy said with a shrug. “It sounds like it’s calming down, though, so the worst is past us. I think we can go back upstairs now.” He stood up and handed her the candle, and flipped the flashlight back on.

He led her back through the maze and up the stairs. The power was still out, but the rain had subsided to a steady drizzle. When the thunder rolled, it was off in the distance. He looked out a window for a moment. “Yeah, we’re okay,” he told her. “I know it’s late, if you want to, you can crash in my bed tonight.”

Being with him in the basement, no longer scared her, but that was probably more due to his presence than the place appearing less scary. She followed him though, feeling a little better when she could at least see a little in front of her instead of the vast black.

“I thought I was already staying in your bed?” She asked shrugging before her eyes lit up a little “Can I?” Ellie was already liking the idea of being tangled in bed with him, holding him, touching, possibly even annoying him for the evening.

She didn’t fully wait for an answer, instead walking straight to the stairs and heading for his room.
“No chance to back out now.” She called as she began to strip, yet again

“Oh yes,” Tommy replied, following her right up the stairs. He would take this woman to bed any night of the week, and at least twice on Sunday! He smiled as he watched her disappear into his room, shedding her clothing along the way, and he did the same, discarding his shirt as he turned the corner into his room.

She had shed her clothes by the time she reached his bed, climbing under the duvet, being embraced by the now familiar smell of him.

The shadow that emerged into the room, could only be him. She loudly patted the bed, peeling a little of the cover back.

“Come one Tommy I’m cold!” She gave a slight whine, really just looking for the chance to hold him

Tommy dropped his pajama pants to the floor just before climbing into the bed. Naked again, he curled up on her, taking a deep breath of the scent of her hair as he came up behind her, his hand finding her hip and drawing her towards him, the other curling under her neck and snaking down her chest.

“You survived your first tornado,” he teased her, giving her bare butt a little hump with his hips.

She smiled unseen in the darkness, hand reaching between her breasts to hold onto his.
“Yes, survived all thanks to you!” She mumbled pushing herself back against him, partially to reassure herself that he was still there.

“More importantly I have just fucked my landlord!” She whispered, surprised how happy it made her to say it, “And I am pretty pleased with it.” Her fingers squeeze his own. As her head started to feel heavier on the pillow.

Tommy snuggled her close, spooning with her. That felt so nice, and it wasn’t long before he drifted off into a very content sleep.

When Tommy woke up, he was happy to discover that everything with Ellie hadn’t been a dream, and she was still right there with him, her butt nestled against his crotch, and they were both still naked!

He nuzzled into her neck, planting little light kisses. “Good morning,” he whispered in her ear.

Ellie had been having such a nice dream, she could practically feel the kisses on her neck when she realised it was in fact someone kissing her neck. It took her a while to figure out where she was, it looked familiar and then she recognised the voice.

Letting go of him she stretched herself, pulling herself out of his arms she lay forwards onto her stomach, slowly turning her head, giving a little flick to chase her hair from her head as she placed her head back down to face him.

“Morning.” She smiled, this was a delightful turn up for the books, “How did we end up in your bed?” She giggled, as if she didn’t recall!

“That was your idea!” Tommy protested with a smile. He rolled onto his back. “We really did all that last night, huh?” he wondered out loud. “That was pretty fucking incredible.”

“Ahh see Tommy I think you are remembering it wrong. You begged me to take you last night from what I recall.” She teased leaning over to give his shoulder a kiss,
“And I of course reluctantly obliged.” Her leg moved over his, taking it between her thighs,
“Of course don’t expect it to happen again!” She giggled kissing his chest before placing a small kiss on his lips
