remake her a little. and let her talk a bit more, and be less passive. Then she fits

Or go the other route and have her become less friendly. Make a couple of sharp comments at the other players or NPC's. She is more then old enough to be a bit bitter.

I think the basic idea is pick another player and form a relation with them. Plot weveing always is a good thing.

Form a realation with anybody you want, perhaps she likes her own kind and is more secure talking to them?
