I didn't have to take the road course part of the test. Not in a normal sense. The DMV that I went to had their own coarse for me to drive through, but the person administering the test was in a bad mood, just had me drive out to the part where I was supposed to parallel park (which I failed), had me back up and drive back tot he begining. No real road portion involved (one turn, one stop sign, and that was it).

I got off so lucky...
