Good afternoon, I am awake now from the morning events!

I had my iron infusion this morning and 5 minutes into it, my stomach started hurting, I was getting short of breath and my head felt like it was on fire!! I started freaking out. My blood pressure was dropping. They changed IV bags and gave me steroids and ativan<---which I am now in love with. They observed me for awhile and let me come on home...they wouldn't let me drive back home. I drove myself to the appt today as I didn't have a problem the first time!
So, I slept off the ativan and I just had a sandwich. I still feel weak and I still didn't get my iron!! I go back to see my dr at the end of March, so will see what he says.

Great way to start the weekend, huh?

Oh god Sweets, I bet that was scarey, and after the ativan I can imagine that they wouldn't let you drive, never had any of that, but in the past have been rather fond of vicodin.:eek:
I'm just glad that you're okay for now and feeling better. I guess the spankings on that magnificent ass of yours will have to wait...

Yeah, I was freaking out and that only made things worse!!
