Table turned

Corrine Vasquez was a high-profile executive for Vasquez Industries. It started out as a simple video gaming software company, but it had now become one of the top companies in the software world. Corrine started the business when she was just 18, and she spent the next 18 years of her life climbing, and staying, at the top. Now 36, Corrine was used to being the tornado in the room. She had plans, she had strategies, and goals, and she knew how to achieve them, and most importantly, she would not stop until she got whatever she wanted...

That took in the bedroom, too. In her spare time, Corrine was a Dominatrix Mistress. Men fawned over her because of her hot Spanish accent, her tight six-pack abs, luscious curly black hair, dark tanned skin, free of any blemishes, her fiery emerald green eyes, her flatteringly muscular arms and legs, tight ass, D-cup breasts, and of course her financial success and influence. Men came to her all the time, eager for her influence to achieve a higher standing in life. Women came to her too, but she was not interested in a lesbian relationship; when a woman did come to her, she was usually polite to their face, then crushed them behind their backs. She was vicious. She could adore you one moment, and the next, put you in the poor house, or worse.

Corrine's father was a famous Spanish film producer, Bernardo Vasquez. Her mother was an African-French supermodel and actress, Marguerite. That was how she met Corrine's father; he sought her out to star in a film.

Corrine was spared nothing growing up. Though nothing had ever been denied her, she taught herself, once she entered boarding school, to fight for what she wanted, and did not care how she got it or who she hurt in the process. It paid off; she was now on the cover of Fortune 500. You did not get on the cover of that publication by being "Ms. Nice Girl."

Any number of men wanted to be her lover, but more wanted to be her husband - so that they could try to weasel some money, and power, out of her. But she would never have that.

All Corrine had to do to deter a man from pursuing her too far was to show him a good time in her playroom... Few men lasted more than three visits. If any still wanted to marry her after that, she would simply step it up a notch, refer them to some friends of hers, and it would be over in no time.

Bottom line: Corrine was no man's mate.

Corrine took a look at her phone to see what her evening schedule looked like. She had a meeting with the head of a company she hoped to swallow - oops, perhaps the more... gentile word would be "merge." She looked at it warily, but quickly adopted her usual "tiger-face," as she called it. She wanted this company, and she was determined to get it... no matter the cost.

She went to this man's flat, which wasn't unusual in itself for her; she was used to this. She expected that he might want some sexual favors in return for some leniency in the board room. He might even try to blackmail her a bit, but she could handle a scandal like that. All she needed to do, if she thought he might try that, was to take him to her playroom. There, he would learn respect, and surely put any thoughts of further harm to her reputation or her company out of his mind for good.

She wore a tight silk shirt, white, with short ruffled sleeves, a scarlet scarf around her neck, a flowing scarlet skirt that came just above her knees, and 3-inch spiked heels - also scarlet, which elevated her height to 6'3." It was not much of a height difference between her and her adversary, but it usually did the trick: intimidation was her best tactic to get what she wanted. The color choice was a message in itself: She may look "pure," but she was definitely out for "blood."

Corrine sauntered in. She looked around the flat, what she could see, though she really had no interest in what it looked like.

"So," she began, turning to face him, "you have quite a promising future in this business. All you need is a push in the right direction. With the right help, there is no limit to what you can do." She smiled, her full dark red painted lips showing a little of her white teeth. This was her "I'm thinking of what's best for your customers" smile. "Of course, if we go through with this merger, you understand that some of your employees will have to be let go - to ensure your company's success."

Corrine turned and clasped her hands in front of her as she faced him.

"Well, unions are another matter. I never go do anything against them. The key is to offer fair compensatuion, or what seems to be fair. How old are the union leaders? Are they more experienced, or are they fairly new to their positions?"

Corrine nodded as her rival - er, her colleague - informed her about the union.

"Well, I would not touch him then. I would go around him. Point out benefits that would be gotten to the less influential people, particularly the younger ones. The older generation is wise. They fought for unions. They know best. But it's been my experience that the younger generation doesn't know that. They're greedy, especially if they grew up in the '80s. They always want more of what they don't have. They couldn't care less about health insurance; they want higher wages. It doesn't matter to them if their higher wages come at the expense of their healthcare, for example. Those men can very easily be bought. You just need to get some of your people involved and give them just enough information to get them good and hungry. Just don't tell them everything; you'll lose if you do. But I'm sure I don't have to tell you that. You've been in this business long enough I'm sure to understand."

She raised her eyebrows a little at his mention of Amnesty International. Very odd that he would mention a human rights group, whose primary mission was to stop torture, and jokingly say they weren't "spying."

Her guard was up now. But she had to keep playing the facade. She wasn't sure what was going on with her adversary, but she had a feeling that he wouldn't make such a reference if there weren't more to him than meets the eye.

She cleared her throat.

"Truly though, while I can be cutthroat to CEOs and executives, I never use such tactics with employees and especially unions. There would be no company without them. Besides, it's bad press."

"I can promote your company in ways that you could never imagine," Corrine said calmly. "My empire has a much broader audience than yours. If you can remember what it was like when Martha Stewart first paired with K-Mart, you can imagine what our two companies can do together. We have the money to promote your company on television, radio, newspapers and magazines, also cinema theatres, and all manner of websites. Your consumers will become more diverse and demanding, and they will want to sample many of your products. By the time we get through with you, your company will be in Fortune 500 too."

It wasn't the first time a man propositioned her when she wanted something. But she had matured considerably over the years. She also knew that she had to be careful, which was why she was secretly wearing a micro-recorder in her ruby ring. That way, if he did try to blackmail her, she could easily blackmail him, and his reputation would be ruined. Her company would suffer a little, but not as much as his, due to its small size.

"So long as it is legal," she sadi calmly, "I will go as far as you want me to go."

She chose her words carefully. She couldn't afford to be caught doing anything illegal; which was why any such things going on in her company were done "without her knowledge."
