He will have a change over in Japan, and wonder WTF, but continue to get to Sweeden from there, only the plane diverts to Iraq, where he is suddenly enlisted in a coup. Despite his cell phone, he decides that he will be there eventually, and that you won't worry and so does not call.

You won't get through to him on his cell phone though because he lost it in the coup before boarding a plane to . . . FINALLY EUROPE, but it ends up being the Azores. In the meantime, Osama Bin Laden has picked up his phone, and fearing the worst, you by-pass international police, and call George Bush directly. Being on the ball, Bush understands that your hubby is indeed Osama, despite the height and the slight difference in skin tone, captures him at the sweedish airport and returns him to the states to get it all sorted out.

He arrives in time for next Christmas, but loses the presents en route, but does offer you a candy kiss he had in his pocket, and an unforgettable shag.

Sounds like a winning plot for a christmas Lit story.

I laughed out loud and asked if I should expect him in January. He didn't think it was funny. I asked what happened to the original plan about him comin on Friday. Turned out he had promised to help out at a party at his church.

I laughed again. This is the first time someone says he can't come and see me because he's going to church instead!

Mental note: stop laughing at Hubby, or he won't want to come at all.
