Taming the snow leopard (closed)

Sasha's tail swished from side to side a bit as Bill talked and Sasha sat quietly, studying him as he talked. She was mostly aggravated because he was getting through her hard exterior so easily. It was as if the exterior had been made of paper. Sasha waited until he finished again to start speaking, trying to build up her wall even though it was hard with this guy. "Of course I have a permit. Do you think the furry shop would have let me have it if I didn't have a permit? It's called common sense." Sasha then sighed, actually getting really hungry and got another cheese biscuit, not being able to get enough of them. Seriously her stomach was like a black hole sometimes, she could eat and eat and eat and still be hungry. "Also I like to write about fantasy and I will forget the cheesecake so you don't have to spend as much, I know this can be an expensive place." Sasha then got another biscuit, blushing a tiny bit. "Also the only reason I'm not is cause I don't want you going broke, then I will be starving and it's better to just not have the cheesecake then starve when you don't have any money left." Sasha turned to look out the window then, waiting so they could order.

Bill just sat there while Sasha talked letting her get everything out that she wanted to say before he spoke to her. “If that is what you want to do then you can do it… what kind of fantasy do you write?” HE asked her. He wanted to know more about her but he knew that if he was to learn everything about her he would have to spend more time with her than what he had already. He seen that the waitress was coming and it looked like she was finally going to take their order. He orders his food and waits for her to order her food before they could talk again. He could tell that she was getting aggravated about something but he didn’t know what it could be. He wanted to ask but he didn’t know how to ask. He sat there for a moment before he just came out and asked her “is everything alright Sasha you seemed to be aggravated about something?” He hoped that asking her didn’t cause her to get mad at him and start acting like she did before he finally had gotten through to her. When he was finished talking he sat there and waited for her to respond to him.

Sasha smiled wryly, almost half smiling as he mentioned about the fantasy. "Romantic, action type fantasy. Yeah I know that with my attitude that you wouldn't think of romance as my thing but it's fantasy. The real world is much harder...... even if I don't wish it to be." Sasha almost whispered to herself then, so many new emotions hitting at her. Why was this happening now? She had been alone most of her life, well felt alone at least. She had put up steel barriers so why was this guy getting through? She almost wanted to cry, but she held back. Right then the waitress came back and Sasha let Bill order before ordering herself and then turned back to Bill, who actually looked like he wanted to ask something actually. Then he asked and her eyes widened before her head hung. "You really want to know why hmm? Because of you. You break down my walls, that are built to protect myself. Why won't you just let me be? I know in the end if you break all the walls and I trust you, you will just hurt me and history will repeat itself. I don't want to get hurt again. Do you men enjoy hurting women that much?" Tears now formed in Sasha's eyes because of the amount of emotion she was feeling.

Bill looked over at Sasha and said to her “I know I don’t like hurting people… I don’t know about other men and for the reason I won’t leave you alone is because we need to get to know each other seeing how we will be living together there is no point in not getting to know one another.” He got up and sat beside of her. He pulls her close to him so she could cry if she needed to cry. He was glad he was getting through to her now. He was serious when he told her that he didn’t want to hurt her like the other people in her life. He hoped that when she realized that he was holding her that she didn’t go into frenzy and begin to scratch him. He sat there petting her as he held her so he could get her to calm down a bit so she won’t be crying when the food comes. “I’m sorry for upsetting you but like I said though we need to get to know one another if we are going to be living together.” He just sat there holding her as she either calmed down or began to cry he just wanted for the ball to drop.

Sasha heard everything Bill said and when he came over to sit beside her she just couldn't hold it back anymore, so she cried. It was a silent crying, but the pain showed on her face as she cried, clutching at his shirt with one of her hands. She managed to calm down before the waitress showed up though and wiped her own tears away, trying to keep calm. "I ordered the salad bar so I'm going to go get some salad, I don't think I can wait for the mozzarella sticks." Sasha didn't look at Bill now, her mind in chaos at this very moment wondering what to do about what was happening.

Bill could see that Sasha’s mind was in total chaos when she left to go get her something to eat. He wanted to say something to her as she left but he figured it was best not to say anything in case it sent her into another crying fit again. He still wondered to what extent was she hurt by her previous owner. What all did they do to her to make her act like the way she is now and make her think that all men only wanted to hurt her nothing more than that. He just sat there wondering what it was while she got her food and his was being cooked.

As Sasha went to get her salad she thought over what Bill was saying, and even though she was struggling she thought that maybe he was right. Maybe he didn't want to hurt her. Sasha was scared though, scared to open up and then get hurt again. She just didn't want it and everyone she knew had hurt her in some way or another when she had been nice. She sighed as she came to the end of the salad bar and made her way back to Bill. Could he really be trusted? Also why was he so insistent, it just was aggravating. She still didn't know if she could trust him but maybe she could be a little less defensive, she just didn't know anymore.

She slid into her seat when she got back to the table and started eating, her salad big, consisting of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, black olives, mushrooms, red onions and topped with Italian dressing. She put a big mouthful in and chewed and swallowed before she sat her fork down and took a sip of her drink before speaking. "Sorry about crying earlier, I haven't cried in a long time, I don't know what came over me."

Bill looked over at Sasha and said to her “it’s fine I understand my constant badgering to get you to open up to me and let me in must have hit a nerve. It’s good to cry every once and awhile so you don’t have to apologize for it in fact if you ever need to cry again do hesitate to hold me like that again and cry.” He figured as their relationship progressed that she may have more episodes like that. He gave her a soft scratch behind her ear before he got up and sat back in his seat giving her a little bit of room away from him. He didn’t know what to ask next so he asked her “is there anything you want to know about me anything at all feel free to ask me?” He didn’t know what she was going to ask her but he didn’t care he needed to be open with her seeing how they would be living together. His mind raced thinking of all the things she could potentially ask him.
