Taste with a twist...

I am appealing to any diabetics out there or men who have given oral to diabetics. Ever get a comment about how you taste? I am starting on insulin and am curious if anyone knows if this will make things more or less tasty. Am sure it won't change enough to make him stop but just curious.

i've never had, or been with, a diabetic... so this is all conjecture.

i believe that anything that changes your body chemistry will alter taste to one degree or another. often times, it's not even noticable. that being said, insulin is something that's always been in your body... you're just adding it manually so to speak. i predict that there'll be little to no change at all.

keep us posted... i'd be curious to see what you learn.

I don't want to appear cruel but if you're diabetic and need to take insulin....one of the last things on your mind should be worrying about how you taste. I'd just be so grateful I was diagnosed and there is treatment to get/keep it under control. Diabetes uncontrolled can do major damage to almost any organ. Having said that...it is probably the best chronic disease to have because so much of its control is in the individual's hands.


But to answer your question....If you really want to know.....taste yourself! It's that simple.

I'm going to disagree here. We all have dietetic differences that go into the makeup of our personal aromas and tastes. We are who we are and the aromas and tastes that are part of us are a part of the beauty of us.

Edit: Let me make myself perfectly clear. I disagree with your statement that smoking cigarettes turns a woman's flavor "foul." I have known the pleasure of loving a woman who happened to be a smoker and I will tell you without hesitation that my earlier claim holds true. The flavor is simply unique to the individual and given the opportunity, I could enjoy hours of her.
