Teaching Dance (Closed for Kaligurl222)

Kali was a28. Her carreer as a professional dancer had been short lived due to multiple knee surgeries. Now she found herself teaching dance to others. She taught at several levels and her favorite were the little kids. She found that they were so open and eager to learn that it was fun for her.

Kali prepared for her class, pulling her straight long dark brown hair into a pony tale and had never found a need to wear much makeup because her tanned skin just didnt need it. Every time she taught the class her bright green eyes sparkled. They were so much fun! Wearing a black leotard, Kali stretched her toned body, her long legs that went on forever were ready for the class.

Kali went thru her normal routine for the class and when it ended she watched the kids run to gather their things. As Kali was grabbing her's she noticed a man she didn't recognize. Of course she went to investigate who he was. When he introduced himself it made sense, it was usually Amanda's Mom who was at the class, she wasn't a big fan of her, but oh well. She smiled at the stranger and introduced herself, "Well it's nice to finally meet you. Amanda is a great student, I love teaching her....she has the potential to be amazing some day." She watched as Amanda came running out and hugged her dad and it made her smile. She heard him ask what she did for fun after class and laughed shrugging her shoulders, "Umm, since I normally just go home, I don't really know..... I suppose I could go for coffee....or a drink, depending on what the other person was in the mood for?"
 
Kali smiled and nodded her head. "that sounds great. I know right where it's at.... Gives me time to run home and change... Not really trying to go out in my leotard." she laughed and waved as Ty walke away.

She didn't know why but she had butterflies. She rushe home and jumped in the shower. She slipped into a pair of fitted blue jeans and a tshirt. She brushed her hair and hurried back out the door. She made it back to the bar and parked her car. She walked in and looked around until she spotted him. She walked over and took a seat across from him. "hope you weren't waitin too long"
 
Kali smiles, "Ok good. Umm I think I'll have a Blue Moon tonight." She laughed after he commented about her not needing to go home and change. "Well that's sweet of you to say but if you had gotten any closer you may have said otherwise.... I had to shower before spending any one on one time with another adult." she laughed. She considered his question before answering, "I would say I easily have hundreds of leotards and other dance related costume/attire." she shrugged her shoulders, "Since I spend a majority of my time in them thats what I own." she paused before she answered the next set of questions, "Before my surgeries I was touring with the NY Dance Academy, dance has been my life for a long time.... so that's why I couldn't ever just totally give it up, so now I teach instead, it's as close to being a pro as I get nowadays."

They chatted as they drank their drinks then he asked her to tell him something no one else knew, she had to stop and consider it a minute befoe she was able to come up with something.... "Hmm, that's a really tough question...Umm, well most people don't know or would never guess that I am from a small country town in Oregon..... a little different from here and the city or NY...but I was definatly raised a country girl.... Grew up with my Dad and 4 brothers... Pretty sure my dad thought I would be the death of him, forcing him to go to dance recitals and buy leotards and all that stuff...... def wasn't his idea of a good time.... but he could tell it was important to me, so he did it anyway..." she laughed shaking her head as she recalled the memories, then looked across at him, "Alright, you're up.... spill it." she smiled at him.

She found herself having a genuine good time. The conversation flowed easily and there wasn't that awkwardness that you often feel when talking with someone you don't know well.
 
Kali laughed playfully and shrugged her shoulders, "Hey what can I say....you missed your shot." she laughed. She watched him debate what to reveal to her and she smiled at him. Then he said it. It didn't fully dawn on her until a few seconds later. She smiled as she kept eye contact, "Oh yeah? Green does it for ya huh?" she winked at him playfully, hoping that wasnt blushing too deep a red. She was saved when the waitress came back with their drinks. After toasting once more and taking a sip she realized her throat had gone dry.... She smiled at him, "Hmm I have a couple of outfits that fit that discription..... one leotard and a dress...both of them kinda make my eyes pop." she leaned back in her seat and smiled, "I MIGHT be going to wear the leotard to one of the dance practices this week...." she intentionally didn't say which day, would he really come each day just in case she was wearing it? She laughed, "As far as the dress goes, I don't really have an occassion to wear the dress now do I?" She took another sip of her beer.
 
Kali smiled, her eyes sparkling. "It's more of a cocktail dress...and dance teachers don't have alot of reasons to wear cocktail dresses." she laughs playfully. "I teach dance at several levels besides the one Amanda's at, but I am also a personal trainer 3 days a week."

She had slowed down on her beer because she didn't really want the night to end but knew that it would probably be the wise thing to do in the situation. She baught herself some time as she finished her drink and set the glass down. She laughed at his comment about getting the green eyes princess home, "Well I'm not going to turn into a pumpkin or anything like that...." she teased. "But I'm sure you've put in a long day at the office and are ready to call it a night..." She really didn't know what she wanted.... She was having such a great time with him, but she didn't want to be one of those girls who dragged the night on and on either..... she left it up to him to make the final choice..
 
Kali simply smiles and shakes her head, she knows she would lose the argument to allow her to at least pay for her drinks. "I don't do alot of dating, but you make it sound like I am all work and no play....that's just not the case....I just don't have someone to play with...." she laughs when he asks her if she is single. "Me, single?...Nah, my husband's waiting in the car." she teases, "Yes, I'm single."

She follows him outside and once they step out the doors she looks at him and smiles, "I think a walk in the park would be wonderful." she smiled at they head towards the park. She feels him slip her hand into his and she can't help but to notice how nicely it fits in his. She lets her fingers curl slightly, holding his hand back as they walk. She laughs when he asks her red or white.... "I think I will go with White tonight." she takes the little bottle, taking a sip as they start to walk thru the park.

She laughs when he asks how tonight rates. "Well, since you're the only dad I've gone out with from any of my classes, I'd say you're number one." she smiles at him.
 
Kali laughed, "I like to do grown up things too....just like everyone else." she smiled as she bumped him playfully. "I like doing to normal stuff, movies, being outdoors, physically active stuff....." as they walked she realized she had drank all the wine in her bottle she smiled as she listened to him ask her where abouts she lived. "I'm not too far from the bar actually...my place is over on 28th...so like 10 blocks or so I guess.... I had a roommate for a while, but he moved in with his girlfriend so now it's just me in the little house....nothing too extravegant, but it's home to me, how bout you? Where do you live?" she knew that him and Amanda's mother were divorced but didn't really know the arrangement they had...or his situation. "And no, I don't have any unique bedtime habits, sorry to crush any little fantasies you had goin.." she laughed. They headed in the direction of where Kali had parked.

"Hey now, as a teacher I'm not allowed to play favorites....that wouldn't be fair. I have to remain impartial." she could hardly keep a straight face while she said it. "But if you promise to keep it between the two of us..." she paused for dramatic effect and dropped her voice to a soft whisper so that he had to lean cloesr to hear her, "I miiiiiiiiiiiiight like you more than anyone else I've met in quite a while." she smiled, and put her fingers to her lips, "shhhh don't tell." she smiled and winked at him as they reached her car.
 
As their lips are so close to eachother she smiled when he asks if she can keep a secret. "I'm very good at keeping a secr....." the last word was cut off as she felt his lips on her's. Instead of her body tensing up or going rigid the opposite happened. She relaxed...totally relaxed.. It was like her body was forming a puddle on the ground in front of him. She kissed him back, meeting his tongue with her own as they kissed with her pinned between him and her car.

She laughs softly at his comment about liking adult things. "Told ya so." she smiled at him. "And I have a feeling you have a very vivid imagination and any story I told you wouldn't be as good as the one's you've got swimming around in that brain of your's." She unlocked her car door, "I had a really......really nice time with you tonight..." she smiled, her eyes twinkling in the soft light of the dim parking lot. "I would definatly like to spend some more time with you........ if you're interested of course." she winked back at him.
 
Kali was almost home when she realized he hadn't asked for her number. A little bummed she goes inside her house and changes clothes, getting ready for bed. That is her only regret about the entire evening and as she lays in bed she can't help but to think about their kiss in the parking lot.....she had enjoyed it alot........

The next day Kali went about her daily routine, worked out and got back home just in time to get ready for her next class she was to teach. Tonight it was high school age girls in a hip hop class. Since the leotard had been on her mind she found herself wearing it. Class had about twenty minutes left when she looked to the bleachers and noticed him...... She smiled and waved then went back to giving directions. As class wrapped up Kali was swarmed by girls with questions and the whole studio filled with the sounds of high school girls, one of the girls asked, "Hey coach, whose that guy in the bleachers?....the cute one?" Kali laughed, "He's a friend...now get goin....I'm sick of seein you're faces...." she teased..... By the time Kali worked her way thru the girls and approached the bleachers it had been a good twenty minutes. "Hey stranger." she smiled at him, "Didn't think I'd be seein you today.....pleasant surprise." she winked at him.
 
Kali laughs, "Well what would you say we are?" she watched as he stepped down towards her, "And no, they never run out of energy, you will find out soon enough with Amanda."

When he reaches her and whispers that he couldn't stop thinking about their kiss it makes her smile, "That makes two of us then." she laughs, "I would totally cancel my plans for tonight, but since I didn't have any to begin with......" she looks at him and smiles, "You want me to pick a place where I can wear my leotard? There's not many places wear leotards are not questioned." she thought for a few minutes. "What's one of your favorite meals?" he thinks about it for a few minutes before he answers and she nods her head, "Alright, how bout we swing by the market, pick everything we need up there and we can go back to my place.... I'll make you dinner? I find myself at the market in leotards all the time after practice and I can stay in it at home too if you want....." she smiles at him.
 
Kali laughed shaking her head, "Alright, then we will be having Italian then...." they walked up and down the aisles at the store as she put the items she needed into the cart. She protested when he insisted on paying for the items but in the end she gave up. He dropped her off at her car and she led the way back to her place.

As they got inside and unloaded the groceries Kali offered to give him a tour which he accepted. She walked him thru the kitchen/dining area into the livingroom. Down the hallway she showed him the bathroom and the master bedroom where she turned and smiled, "Alright, you go start chopping and I will shower...it won't take me long and I have confidence you will find everything you need in the kitchen." she smiled as she watched him walk away.

She hurries to shower and get cleaned up and gets out...drying herself and slipping a jean skirt and a fitted tshirt that sets off her eyes again. She walks back down the hallway to discover him in her kitchen chopping away. She leaned in the doorway and smiled, "You look pretty good doin that." she laughs playfully.
 
Kali laughed at his playful comments. "You must have been hearing things." she walked into the kitchen and bumped him to the side, "Your job here is done. Its all me now. Why don't you go make yourself comfortable?....it won't take me long to get things going in here, and like all good Italian things, it takes a little while for it all to simmer." she smiled as she dumped ingrediants into a big pot on the stovetop. She liked having him there in her kitchen, cooking for him....
