I feel a shiver up my spine and raise an eyebrow at that one.
Sleep? Who said anything of sleep? Beautiful ... first we pick her up, then have to stop so she can take a leak, now have to stop and feed her ... and, later, provide her a bed as well?
"Uh, listen babe. We're just drivin'. We're not headed anywhere, y' know? We'll find a burger joint; hell, we're hungry, too. But if you want us to make a special trip to a motel just so you can snooze ... gotta know, what's in it for us?"
My tone suggested disgust. My eyes suggested otherwise.
