It was a pic I had posted at Lit, and planned to use the web page info for it. (I read all of that info for people wanting a picture on their signature line, so I tried it for the post section as well.)

It's really not too big of a deal. I ended out leaving it as a link for the thread I wanted it in.

The problem you encountered is that the IMG tags require a direct, unambiguous URL to an image file -- an attachment is NOT a link to an image, it's link to an "image source."

I think that distinction is probably second only to hotlink protections in causing problems with posting images.

You have to give the IMG tags the location and file type so it can find the image named "9920" -- and it has to be a location the forum software can find when you go to bed and turn your computer off.

LOL well I do understand, and while you wouldnt understand the importance of the *story* to me.. It is quite a compliment to be sure.. Iam saying I enjoy reading you as if I were just laying around at home listning to you talk
