I didn't even head out to the gym until late morning. Wanted to give the sun time to melt the patches of ice, didn't want to risk my knees if I slipped and fell. Especially this close to vacation!

The sunshine is a little misleading. It looks warmer outside than it really is. The wind here is still carrying quite a nip.

But the sunshine is beautiful! Crisp and clear, even if cold.

I'm seriously thinking of going somewhere tropical for a week or so. Seems summer just won't roll around quick enough to suit me.

I was thinking about the same thing this morning.. My daughter laughs at me because I wouldn't move near her in new jersey because of the cold weather and we have been colder here the last month...

I've been in NY and NY in the winter months. For some reason, 30 degrees up there didn't feel as cold as 30 degrees here. I think it's the added wind in Texas that makes the difference.

Having said that, it doesn't make me want to head north today!
