Just checkin' in to say Hey, when all the sensible people are headed for the sack.

Me, I'm hopin' to get a couple of hours in writing. The house is finally quiet, and I can maybe get something done. I'd almost forgotten how much chatter comes out of a teenager, but now that's she's home for Christmas, I was quickly reminded.

Not complaining, though. :)

LOL I'm glad she's home safe and sound. :rose:

So, what are you writing?

Good Sunday morning to all.
I am glad to be back in our great state...

Hope y'all have a great day.

Good morning, Texas!

The countdown is .... 11 Days till Christmas. Just letting you know in case you haven't bought MY present yet.

Have yourselves a great day!

Good morning all. Where did my weekend go??? Who stole it?? I want it back. Running around yesterday. Then a wedding and a party. Drinking and fun. Then this child of mine again up at the crack of dawn. Ugh!!! More planned for today. I need strength. Enjoy your day all

Good morning Lolly.

Christmas at a sun drenched tropical resort. That's what we need!

Still not cold enough?

stick your boobs in the freezer yet?

*snort*

this flashed a memory.. I was a breastfeeding Momma and had Goddess waiting out in the lot at lunch time with her Daddy for feeding, and the customer I was running tests with didn't want to break for lunch. Part of the testing was temp related and I had parts in the deep freeze in the office when my boss came in to see me leaning my boobs into the freezer and sighing.. Bless him, he knew exactly what was going on and at my response to him questioning if Goddess was outside, told me to go to lunch, he would step in and it never happened again. He set the customer straight on lunch breaks.

*checks watch* Ummm, it's a little early for that....besides, I think the Mule kinda trashed it last night! I was thinking more of brunch! A mimosa or two....

I totally could go for a few or a Poinsettia. Cranberry instead of orange juice. Really good. Brunch does sound good

For those of us who are not in your area, give us better notice on these "let's get together for liquid refreshments." I know of one that just might surprise you and show up.....and take care of the bar tab! :D

So, what are you writing?

Hi VT - I'm a very undisciplined writer. I have maybe 50-60 unfinished stories in my pile. I write when inspired, which unfortunately hasn't been much lately.

Right now (or at least earlier) I was working on the concluding chapters to two of the series I started at the end of last year, before taking a self-imposed sabbatical.

That, and a story for the summer contest that I started two years ago, and has completely gotten out of hand. My beta readers are beating on me with large hammers to finish that one.

Yesterday was so gorgeous up her in Dallas. Today, it's rainy, miserable and cold.

It's like they say - If you don't like the weather in Texas, wait a minute.

My Sports Post (Sorry Ladies)

All the hype about Manziel being ready for the NFL fell by the wayside today, as he successfully threw interceptions, got sacked, and overall made rookie decisions in the clutch parts of the game.

Typical for Heisman Trophy winners. Yes, there have been some instances where they went on and made something of themselves. However, the majority could be classified as not mature enough to handle all the publicity, and everything else that goes along with suddenly being famous.

I hope he can make it big, and he probably will if he learns to control himself. For now, I would encourage all college athletes to let Johnny be their example and motivation to stay in school. Finish college.....then start moving up the ladder. It really does make a difference.

Never gonna happen, my friend. Tis a shame, but is still truth.

He kinda manned up and admitted it was just too much for him today. If he puts his mind to it, he might do okay. When he's good, he's amazingly good. That just doesn't happen often enough.

I watched part of that game. It was sad. So sad, even the commentators were feeling bad about watching it.

I remember thinking on his second interception. He was down on about the 20, under pressure and trying to make a play. He threw it off his back foot falling back (as he does more often than not) and threw it to the goal line trying to make a play. Except, he threw it up way too much of a lob (again, as he does all too often) and of course it was intercepted. It reminded me of his college days. Half his throws were off his back foot, lobs, deep. The difference was he had an amazing receiver at A&M that could jump up and grab anything close. That shit will not work in the pros where everyone is fast and can jump. He needs to learn to work on his skill and be a better passer and decision maker. Sadly for him and the Browns, I don't see ANY improvement in his style or skill.

All I got from that^^ up there was guy threw ball.. Badly. Blah..blah..blah..blah...immature.. Blah..blah..blah...football.. More blah..blah..sporty type stuff..

Oh, hi, Iam.. I could have used a man around the house today.
