Perhaps my favorite area on earth too. LOVE the HC.

Experienced temperature variations up there of 70-80* in a 24-hr. period. It's crazy. Been a lot of places, but never been colder than I've been in the TX panhandle on a couple of occasions.

Definitely.....also Travis, Canyon, Buchanan, Whitney. And of course Texoma is a great lake for everything too and doesn't get mentioned as much. Possum Kingdom is my favorite though.
