My goodness I'm not sure how you deal with this heat. I thought I knew sun but when you add this southern Texas humidity to it I'm not really sure what to do.

Stay inside between the hours of 9 AM and 9 PM.
If you absolutely must go out, a large, cold beverage should accompany you! :)
PS - it's not even proper summer yet, you know...!

Does anyone know of any beer gardens (biergarten) in the DFW area? I'm in FW and the only thing close to one I've been to is The Gingerman. Thanks!

Not sure if you're looking for the beer or the food also but this one might do? Sounds like they do well on both counts.

This place is really good and has a nice atmosphere along with a great patio area. It's downtown at Sundance Square too. Not quite what I'd call a biergarten, but fun. (Edit - it's listed as a biergarten, and they have over 200 kinds of beer, so yeah, it's a biergarten!)

Just remember that I'm in the Houston area. Houston 90 and Dallas 90 are two, totally, different things. It's the difference between a steam room and a sauna.

I haven't been down to Houston yet.. been missing my desert lately, they have been in the mid 110's. :D

Good morning neighbors.

It's Happy Thursday!!!

Who's buying lunch today???

Darn you Incognito!!
Why are you always spying on me from the corner of my browser when I'm surfing porn and shouldn't be?!? :p

Hello and Happy Monday to all of you.

Just remember to keep that smile on.

Texas

Hey fellow Texans and wannabes! Monday afternoon 85 with a high of 90. Not bad considering this is the 2nd week of July.

Lived in this Gulf Coast area all my life and still not used to the humid weather. Still the greatest area to live.
